Desertworks/Dirt engineered rzr 1k door review

This is a personal review for the desertworks/Dirt engineered 1K Doors. First i would like to say that i did a lot of research and lots of friends with all different 1k doors. I am not here to bash any other door manufactures BUT all the other doors that i have personally seen have poor fitment at best. What i mean is, where the outer edge of the door meets the factory plastic at the front/bottom has big gaps, could put my hand through them. That gaps causes lots of dirt/dust to enter the vehicle and rattle that is nothing short of annoying. Also a few of my buddies doors swing open at a very off camber angle that when you open the doors the front edge almost touches the ground next to rear tire. Some might not have a problem with this but not for me.Now onto the desertworks doors,The fitment has very tight tolerances all the way around front/back/bottom they also have NO rattle at all the latch is very easy to use. The doors open almost level with the rzr 1k,just a slight off camber drop, the carbon fiber backing absorbs any extra possible rattle from the door skin i also opted for the desertworks matching carbon fiber door bags that my lady and i find comfortable for knees when in rough terrain and extra storage for small stuff, baby wipes, reg, sunglasses, gloves, etc. The second option i went with was the door sticker kit i personally like the look of the graphics,(again not for everyone). The graphics that they have designed are a perfect match to the factory rzr 1k graphics and color is spot on. Installation was very easy all i had to do was remove the door skins lay flat on a table,(make sure they are free of dust with warm water and a few squirts of dish soap spray the door skin then with the help of a friend holding the graphic backing peel the sticker and spray at the same time this stops static/dust from getting on the back of the graphic prior the laying on door skin.Lay the graphic on door slid it onto place and squeegee out all air bubbles.I then waited 24 hrs before reassembly, the only issue i had with the doors is during reassembly of door skin onto the frame the bolts with the washers (when tightening) seem to make the graphic buckle causing a wrinkle the best solution i found was to make sure that you hold back on the Allen screw when tightening. Now back to the doors installation was a snap, i used some blue painters tape when installing so i didn’t scratch the paint put the brackets on front and left just snug. Shut the door and if you open easily the front latch bracket stays in place then tighten. After the front was close did the same to the rear. SIDE NOTE: i am a plumbing contractor so i put a few small pieces of peel and stick felt backing on the front inside edge of door frame (where the door meets the body) and boom very snug no rattle fit. Also i set a piece of 3/4 inch pipe insulation over the top edge of the door for my arm so when trail riding i can simply install or remove. I contacted chris and he was very helpful from beginning to end. Thanks desertworks one of the best options for my 1k .:clap::clap: Hope this info is helpful , you all have answered tons of questions for me thanks>>>
