I have two ’09 grizzs, one is a 450, the other 550. I have been riding them like they were stolen, since I purchased them new.
I have gotten a lot of great tips and info from ppl at grizzcentral here before and I am hoping to gain some insight as to what i will need.:gcrules:
My one way bearings are going on both machines and I was a lil upset that they seem to be going for about $90./piece. I have had some bad experiences with moose aftermarket axle boots and I don’t want to mess around and have to do these again for another 5 yrs. The clutch on my 450 is hurting since I started runnin 550 rims with stock sized executioners. The clutch talk that I hear is confusing, and it seems like there is a lot that can be improved for better performance. I ride a lot of muddy rocky nasty trails, skid logs, tow boat, tow trailer, haul maple sap, deer/bear(whatever is in season):lala:
What clutch, spring, weight, shim combo should I use for these machines ??? And are aftermarkets better or just cheaper ???
All info is greatly appreciated
Thank you in advance
