I am trying to mount some itp delta steel wheels on the front and I am having trouble. Apparently my bolt pattern is 4/130 on this machine. The wheels I got are 4/110. I found an adapter, but the lug nuts are too short to go through the adapter to be secured.
I went with the same setup (or so I thought) as goldjohn in this thread and I am trying to figure out where I am going wrong. I don’t see that itp offers the delta steel wheels in a 130mm bolt pattern.
Please check out this thread and see if you can figure out what he did to make it work. I would pm him, it shows he hasn’t been online in months.
I have a 2014 Rancher that has the stock tires. I have actually thought that they weren’t as horrible as I thought that they would be, but I am planning ahead for upgrade time.
I do not mud. I enjoy trail riding best, no real mountains where I am, but there are paved roads that get used, as well as hard pack, loose dirt, small to large rocks, the occasional creek to cross, and the occasional mud puddle that is in the trail. The tires I want are Maxxis Bighorn Originals. I dig their capabilities and lifespan/value.
However, they run tall I am told and I want the 25" – which will be almost 26". I have never changed ATV tires at all so what loss can I expect over my stock 24"?
I will be replacing the rear wheels with ITP Deltas.
I’m new to the forum and I just purchased my first atv. A 2014 rancher dct. I want to upgrade wheels and tires but I’m not sure where to start. Would it be best to go with a 25 or 26" tire? I don’t want to loose any power or have any future gearing issues. I’m also unsure on what offset to get. I know the stock offset is 2/5 on the front and 5/2 rear but do I have to stick with that? I see a bunch of atvs that don’t match there factory offset. Any help would be great.
Couple of thoughts on this video…. 1) I’m running tires with less tread on them then the ones being replaced. 2) Seams like a lot of work for a tire change….$15 mounting fee would have been worth it IMO. 3) Once the grinding wheel came out I stopped watching…..think I would have tried driving on the edge of the tire to break the bead. 4) the tire he cut up would be listed on local craigslist for $50 with around 50% tread left. Amazing how value of used tires varys…..
