New Tires! Carlisle Blackrock

Been beating myself up for the longest time trying to decide on a nice tire for my ’02 Rancher 350. I live in Louisiana so I get into a lot of mud, but I like to trail ride mostly. After far too much thought on this I ran across some Carlisle Blackrock tires on ebay in a discontinued, bigger size and jumped on it.

Carlisle no longer makes a 27" tire for a 12" wheel, I don’t know why, they should IMO. I got these from a dealer in Wyoming. They look great on the quad with a 2" lift. Haven’t had them out yet but I like them so far. A little disappointed that the 27" tire only measures 26" tho.

2004 Foreman tire selection

Just picked up a like new 450S. Years ago I had a 1998 model with 26" ITP 589 on it. I loved it and it was unstoppable. However I can’t seem to locate any of those tires.

I have a new set of 2004’ish Rubicon Aluminum wheels to mount them on.

I was thinking of 27" tires with aggressive tread similar to the 589.

I want a tough tire with deep lugs. Something inline with the 589.

Would Kenda Executioner or Mega Mayhems be what I need?

Thanks

ITP XTR Mudlite Vs. ITP Blackwater Evolution

Both are 26x11x12 anyone have personal experience with either of the 2?
Pros/Cons?

The reason I ask is because I have both sets that are brand new and I’m trying to decide which set to go with and which set to send down the road.

Also is there a particular wheel that you would purchase or stay away from?

Thanks for all the great input I’ve gotten so far being a part of this group, everyone seems very knowledgeable about everything.
