Anyone have a rancher 420 with a front mount warn pro vantage system? If so have you gone with lager tires in front? I have a 2011 rancher at the stock front tires are 24/8/12. I would like to run 26/9/12 maxxis big horn 2’s. Im worried about clearance for the mount..
Just got my 22" Bear Claws installed on my Recon. Installer has PSI at around 15 PSI. I lowered to 4 PSI for my test ride. These tires are stiff!!! What PSI are you all running at? Wanting to go a little lower I think.
My fronts 22×7-11 don’t have much flex at all at 4 PSI. Wondering if due to 6 ply rating and so small won’t have much flex even with 0 PSI?
These tires are so small my wife nicknamed them Teddy Bear Claws.

After reading countless posts and speaking with people I may have finally come up with a package. I would like some input before I place my order. Hopefully these wheels and tires will fit my stock 2011 rancher at (IRS) and give me more stability / ground clearance.
From what I’ve read going with a 12×7 5+2 rim all the way around and using an 8" tire up front with a 10" tire in back should give me an inch more clearance and just stay within the fenders. Based on this info I chose the following package:
FRONTS: 25×8-12 bighorn 2.0 on sti hd beadlock’s 12×7 5+2
REARS: 25×10-12 bighorn 2.0 on sti hd beadlock’s 12×7 5+2
Any thoughts or concerns with this package? Thanks in advance!!!

My son has saved up his money and wants to buy aftermarket wheels. It doesn’t seem they make any for his recon. He wants to keep his stock tires to use on them but hasn’t been able to find any that match the 11’s up front and 9’s in the rear. Does anyone know where to buy any? Thanks for the help

2011 rancher 420 w/independent rear/power steering. im interested in getting a new wheel and tire package. I would like to get a tire slightly taller if possible to help with ground clearance. I do not want to add a lift kit or change trans clutches. what is the best all around tire on the market and what size can I run? any info or pics would help a lot thanks!
I have a Rincon with stock size bighorns. I weigh 180lb and carry an extra 100lb of gear. Riding is a mix of slow off road pushing through bush to fast speeds on the dirt tracks. Hardly any mud, not much sand either. Currently running 5psi in the front and 6psi in the back as when I’m sitting on the quad it is what "looks right" as in the tyres bulge out slightly where they contact the ground.
While the bighorns seem good, they do also seem soft and pliable, which I guess is why they are flexing out more than I thought they would.
Fwiw, on my old foreman with original bearclaws, I ran them at 4psi and they didnt seem to look as "deflated". Carrying the exact same payload.
So, what does everyone else run?
Also, average temp around here is about 95°f and overnight about 60°f, so not very cold…
