Hi, I am considering ordering a UTV Giant roof, but my only question is about the wing vs the non wing roofs. Does the wing provide additional protection from rain, or is it purely cosmetic? I would just order the winged roof, but Im thinking head room while loading into my toy hauler may be an issue. Thanks.

my little review on a pretty nice roof for your 2015 or 2016 900s RZR’s

1st I have 2 small complaints…
1) which one of you sick sadistic sombitches decided it was a good idea to pack these in packing peanuts!!! its gonna take me a lonnnnng time to get them all out of my yard!!! just kidding but be warned there is a metric ton of peanuts in the box so when you recieve yours open the box slowly and if possible indoors where it will be easier to clean them all up.

2) my roof did have some scratches in it, it does appear to be repainted but that is on the top side(underside looked great) so it will get scratched up anyway so those didn’t really matter to me just thought I would mention it for anyone thinking of buying one of them.

onto my review,
to install the roof you will need to remove your factory visor, keep the visor bolts you will need them for the new roof 4 of the bolt holes up front will use the factory holes and hardware and if you use the provided light bar mounts those will line up with the visor bolt holes too!
installation was a breze! simply pop off your visor and remove your windshield if you have a Polaris lock and ride front windshield it will work with the roof but you have to tuck it under the new roof whereas before it mated ip to the factory visor this will cause your windshield to curve a bit but it will work.

I did use a bit of weather stripping on my cage to help alleviate any rattles so
I suggest putting that down first because it will help keep your roof inplace while you are getting it lined up.

1st get your roof lined up with the front visor holes and use your factory torx bolts to hold the roof in place (if you are putting a lightbar on put the mounts on too)do not tighten them up yet, next place the UTV Giant provided straps around your cage where the holes in your roof are there are 6 of these, 2 on each side and 2 on the back bar.
now install the provided hardware thru the roof and start the nylock nuts but dont tighten them yet either.
now get your roof straight and when you get it where you like it tighten everything down and your done! it is that simple, it took me all of 15-20 minutes to install the roof!!!
seriously thats it!
side note, if you want a waterproof roof I suggest using some sillicone caulk to seal up the bolt holes in the roof. other than that its finished

A couple of things I did do was I left out the mounting strap and bolt in the front passenger side, I used the hole to run my light bar wire thru it, I figured you dont really need a strap there because the visor bolts are right next to it.
and I replaced the UTV Giant supplied washers with my own the supplied washers were a tad too small IMO, no big deal it will work with the supplied ones,.
for those of you wondering I used a elcheapo amazon 30 inch bar I already had and it will fit the UTV Giant mount with a little work, I had to make up some rubber spacers on mine.

all in all I give the roof a solid 9!!! I deducted one point for the scratches and the washers being just a bit too small.
the lightbar mounts still need a bit of tweaking on the angles on the mounting feet but they are close enough for me and they did tighten down.

I will get a few more pics later today.

RZR 800 50" i have been looking for suspension sears to replace the stock seats I spoke to Jake a month or so ago and he told me they was designing a seat for the rzr 800. I received them yesterday and they are perfect they fit fantastic. They are very easy to install the base mounted and they went in perfect, Thank you Jake
