I have an Attitude with stock Generac 4700. It is very clear the oil overtemp is tripping, however the oil sensor measures 300 degrees F according to my IR sensor. While studying this, it appears to me that there is no method for generator to ventalate in this RV. THere is no vent in the enclosed compartment, the only hole appears to be for exhaust. In addition, the muffler is in the same compartment, and it gets to 470 degrees F, only inches away from oil filter.
SHould this unit draw in fresh air? If so, where from? Seems like a bad design and bad implementation-bad enough to be in closed cabinet, but stuffed inside closed compartment with no air flow?!?…Granted, it has been 100F daily here, but this rig is designed to camp in desert for weeks for ATV-ing…

I’m looking for a toy hauler that is super lite and small but large enough to fit an XP1k 2-seater. I had to get rid of my full size truck when we moved because it would not fit in the garage. I tow with my SUV now. My max towing capacity is 7,000 lbs.

I need your help. I will be purchasing a ranger 900 crew cab. (I use to have a rzr 1000 but I sold it to get a ranger crew cab for hunting and so I can have another couple ride with my wife and i).
I live in houston and when we go to the ATV parks either my wife or I have to stay sober because we currently do not have a way to stay at some of the parks. My wife wont sleep in a tent due to the extreme texas summers and I cant blame her. And it is getting to the point that it really is not safe to drive home late at night after a long day of off-roading. So we are looking for options
The ranger crew cab is right at 12.5’ long. I am going to lift the machine probably 5” and put 33” tires on it for “mudding” so the total height will be around 7’
Our budget is probably $15,000 or less. Would probably go used to save money.
We would want the rv to be able to atleast sleep 4 people but would be better if it could sleep 6 (4 people on two beds and 2 people on blow up mattress)
I will be bumper pulling with a 2014 toyota tundra crew cab 5.7 liter…tow rating is right at 10,000 pounds
Any length RV/trailer that would be safe to haul I am fine with
Options
1) Are there toy haulers that have a garage long enough and tall enough for the ranger? What brand/make?
2) Does someone in or around Houston custom make big enclosed car haulers basically into a “toy hauler” with a/c and everything?
3) Would double towing with a regular RV and a 14’ trailer be safe? Both being bumper pull
Since I keep my RZR stored in my toy hauler, I was keeping the trailer plugged in to power so I could keep the RZR on a trickle charger. But someone told me I shouldn’t do that because it would damage my trailer battery. Had something to do with it being more like an actual charge to the trailer battery instead of a trickle style charge, thus hurting the battery. Anyhow, my question is, is it ok for me to just leave my trailer plugged in all the time or will it hurt my battery?
Flatbed dually diesel trucks (say 6.7L) … can they pull 5th wheel toyhauler? Or is the height issue mess it up when you add it on top of bed? I always see flatbed pulling gooseneck trailers… so there’s got to be something I’m missing?

Custom ordered a new ATC all aluminum trailer that is made to fit my garage. I had to have a trailer that would fit in my garage AND house my new Ranger Crew. I worked with Becker Trailers for about 2 weeks and approved the design and landed on a 7.5 x 16 with a vnose and inboard wheels. The truck in the pic is the delivery guy who was awesome to work with. I am pulling it with my Range Rover and this trailer tows great and being aluminum weighs in a tad over 2k pounds, while I bet the Steel counterpart would be probably 3K pounds or more…
This thing is awesome and I love it. We plan on throwing some blow up mattresses in it and camping as well. If you have specific needs and any customization, I highly recommend Scott @ Becker Trailers….Very Professional and accomodating outfit!!
