900 XP Performance Slip On

I don’t usually do this kind of thing but I’m going to make an exception for this pipe. I just have to say this is without a doubt the best performance pipe on the market for the 900. The build quality is incredible. Very solid design and all the welds are perfect. I really like how SLP is stamped into the heat shield where it can be seen. The install was a breeze. Literally took me 10 minutes. The only thing I would say is make sure you have a spring puller. I borrowed one of the mechanics that I work with and it was a knuckle saver no doubt. Onto the sound. WOW! Simply awesome. It has a mean bark to it but it’s not so loud that it’s annoying. I’ve heard some pipes that are so loud they give the driver a headache. Not this pipe. The tone is definitely louder than stock but I was still able to carry a conversation with my wife and not have to yell back and forth. I haven’t tried the spark arrestors in it yet but I plan on it just to hear the difference. Now finally performance. I honestly wasn’t expecting any noticeable gains. I’ve put pipes on previous ATV’s I’ve had and convinced myself that nothing noticeable is gained from a slip on muffler. That it only seems faster cuz it’s louder. Well there is definitely some gains with this pipe no doubt about it. Best way I was able to tell was by watching the speedo. I took it for a rip before I installed the pipe so it was fresh in my mind. After the install the acceleration definitely picked up. It was literally noticeable from watching the speedo go up. I was shocked. Don’t know how it was done but the power increase is noticeable.

This pipe is simply the best on the market. I know it is a little more pricey than others on the market but that price is justified. Without a doubt one of the best, if not the best, thing I’ve put on so far. Great job SLP!

Performance Package for the 570 RZR!

You have waited patiently for a performance kit for your 570 RZR that matches your expectations. The wait is over! SLP now has available a performance kit that includes an SLP Clutch Kit and Performance Muffler.

It is 5 lengths faster than stock in a 1/8 mile drag race! (see video).

The SLP RZR absolutely walks away from the stock 570. The heavier the load or longer the race, the bigger the spread.

It includes a Clutch Kit and Performance Slip-On Muffler. With Silky Smooth throttle response, our clutch kit eliminates the rough, ratchety or abrupt factory engagement. It includes a drive spring, drive weights, helix and secondary clutch with spring on some models. The acceleration is so quick you would only expect it on one of the bigger RZRs. Available to be setup as an EBS or Non-EBS system.

Our exhaust is designed to be high performance and low sound. With a 32% flow increase and perceived noise output at or below stock levels, that’s what you’ll get from our 570 Performance Muffler. It is built in the USA and includes removable spark arrestors.

900XP SLP muffler install

Good day,
I just installed my new SLP muffler and have a question regarding the hanging bracket.
On my stock muffler there are 2 bracket hangers that slide thru rubber grommets that are in the frame.
Now on the SLP there is only 1 braket hanger that is welded onto the left side of the muffler, and on the right is a bolt hole braket that lines up with the rubber grommet.
Does a bolt and nut need to be installed here or not. There seems to be an interference with the heat shield, and if adding a bolt/ nut wouldn’t that made it too ridgid?

Awesome looking muffler by the way!

Thanks,
Mike
