Riding in and around CO in the winter?

We just moved to the Denver area about a year ago from the southeast (Atlanta) and this will be my first winter as a Rzr owner. I was wondering if there is anywhere to ride within a reasonable distance of Denver in the winter or is everything pretty much snowed in by December?

What riding areas will be accessible the latest in the year?

Thanks,
Seth

Hey Arizona!

Ok folks so I have been playing with the idea of getting out of Connecticut for a few years now. After my first trip out to AZ last year to visit the wifeys parents I felt Arizona was exactly the type of place I would love to plant some roots. I’m very interested in either Prescott valley area or Flagstaff area. Im open to other areas in the higher elevations similar to Prescott or flag. Any useful insider information on basically anything would be a huge help. Especially some of the ins and outs of riding and going street legal with a rzr!
Clearly the amount of riding for my rzr is endless! And I sure love the idea of not being labeled as a bad bad man for owning a few AR-15s like here in CT!

The main concern for me is of course work. Im a Licensed commercial Gazier (Fabrication and Installation of window systems in everything from small store fronts to skyscrapers). Any guys on here that can chime in on how the commercial construction outlook in the prescott or flagstaff area would be a huge help. From my research its clear I will take a rather large pay cut and Im ok with that as long as I can stay busy with continual work. I have not found much for commercial glass companies online though.

Im flying into phoenix on Nov 9th and staying until the 19th. Going to do some footwork on some things including work. Its too bad I cant bring my polaris with me! May have to just man up and rent one while im out there.

Thanks in advance everyone.

The Dip/Superstition

Does anyone else ride there? Off of Huff rd 1/2 mile north of Wheeler rd in the Imperial Valley? It’s my favorite spot, and I’d like to meet up with other people that ride there. Here’s some pictures from today.

Sawmill Lake from Bowman Lake

Went back to Bowman lake this past weekend. We had planned to ride up to Sawmill and Faucherie Lakes. The road leading out of Bowman Campground towards sawmill now has a sign that reads "Highway Registered Vehicles Only". That sign was not there a few weeks ago. Anyone have any info on this?
