I wanted to drop a post in this forum. I know many of you ride the Taylor Park/Pitkin/St. Elmo area in the summer and this is great news for us! The Forest Service is considering a proposal to re-open several trails in the Pitkin area that were closed in past years. This would be great as it would take some of the traffic off of popular trails in the area, and give people something new to ride! This is going to be a tough battle, but one we should be able to win!
We really need your support (positive, supportive comments). Please take 5 minutes out of your day and read about the project, then make a comment supporting the re-opening of these trails!
Looking for places to dry camp around Havasu on Google Earth. I did notice some before town that look like snowbird areas and one heading south out of town that looks like an area that was graded and shaped for homes or something. I see a few campfire pits. Does anyone know if you can camp there?
We did camp at Standard wash once but, was kind of trashy.
I’ll be camping :campfire_flames_md_out off of carefree hwy New Years weekend. May run to Crown King one day, if not just cruise around that area.
Anybody else gonna be in that area ?
I’ll be camping around mile marker 4. North side of the road.
Lots of trails out there.
Tons of single track too if any of you guys two wheel too:azflag:
Can anyone recommend a good shop/service I can take my RZR to for some warranty work and little maintenance.
And if you think Ride Now is a good shop then please keep your opinion to your self.
