2015 xp1k fender flares

So I’m not to sure who polaris has on there design team but man this machine it’s not designed very well or its designed very well depending on which side of the coin your on!
Driving in mud which in my area is un avoidable is a disaster in this thing stock! Comes right of the front tire into the occupants and in every nook and cranny of the interior! Stupid!!
So full doors are a must found a deal for 200 for full doors cheap enough I’m not building any! But fender flares on the other hand crazy expensive so I went out and bought some puck board an an industrial plastic store for like $6 /sq/ft and made my own! Templating took a little while but after that making them was a breeze! I made them more functional then fashionable!

2015 xp1k snorkels

I have only has my machine out twice and realized I need snorkels bad!!
I ride in a lot of mud! Last time out the frog skin god completely covered and I couldn’t drive over 60 km!
I looked for some snorkel kits only to be horrified by the price!
So I went to home Depot spent $70 and made my own took me about an hr start to finish haven’t had it out to try yet but I’m sure it will be much better then stock!

Aluminum Welding

So I’ve made a few things with my MIG. Not a pro by any means.

I have a all aluminum cargo trailer I’m converting to a toy hauler. I want to weld in some support tubing around the window cut outs.

Is there anything special I need? Roll of wire? Has mix % Helium/Argon?

It doesn’t have to look great. I just want to tack in some 3/4"X1" tubing to support the window better.

Tips and advice welcome.
