My daughter has a 2013 Polaris RZR170 that I’m in the process of building up.
Currently I have a big Bore kit, larger valve head, and a A8 cam.
I am looking for recommendations on clutches. Was looking at the Dr. Pulley Hit clutches, but would like to hear what others might be running.
I recently installed some lights on the 170. 20" light bar, two 4" reverse lights and 6 mini led flashing light bars.
Anyone else have any modified 170s?
Looking for new ideas.
This has a stereo, doors, snorkel, horn, doors etc. Next thing will be a gun rack for his pellet gun:)

Just thought Id drop a thread and ask. Im located in Tennessee but will travel for the right machine. We are hitting some local shops today to kick tires!
So i am about to pick up my daughters 2016 Polaris 170.
I already have a 2015 RZR xp 4 1000 with the extended warranty, I have not used the extended warranty and hopefully i will never have to.
I did use the regular warranty for a bad 02 sensor that they covered.
My question is should is get the extended warranty for the 170? Is it worth it, do they really cover stuff it it breaks?
What does normally break on these 170’s?

I would like to get a second battery, and was hoping someone here could tell me where to mount without excessive damage to the body. also what are some good sub 100 dollar light bars, a decent low cost uhf radio system and anything else that may be necessary for long ride times and night rides (electrical or mechanical)
How well do the polaris 170s do in the sand. Looking to get one for the little one in the near future. Well be in pismo most of our trips. Do they have enough power for paddles. Just wondering cuz the 2 wheel drive kinda scares me trying to make it up hills.
Hey all, I have had this problem before and it was because of a faulty spark plug. This was the first thing i replaced. This time it did nothing, it worked good enough to drive before I took it up a 1m high sand bank that was at about 60 degrees it drove a bit further (100M) and now is absolutely dead other than the lights turning on and turning over
