Cage question

Is a full cage worth the weight , as in front and rear bumpers connected to the cage . Will just be trail / track riding . Also what is the height most are going from the A-piler up , seems like lowering that height would cause issues seeing as in top bar will be in line of sight . Is that just the norm on lowered cages . Want to lower a cage 4 in in the rear but not sure if I need to lower the front the same . Any info would be thankful

SDR Cage w/ opening doors issue

I just picked up my new to me 2011 XP900 and it has an awesome SDR motorsports cage with opening doors. I seem to be having an issue with the doors opening.

I can’t seem to open the door easily when I’m inside. It takes a lot of shoulder, and my body weight to get it to open. anyone ever experience this ? or have any suggestions for me? This doesn’t seem very safe if you had an emergency and had to get out quick.

900s fast back cage

We have a 900s fast back sport cage aval. ,I was given the wrong measurements for the tabs that will mount the Polaris self retractable seat harness , so you will need to use the standard 4 or 5 point seat harness with this cage. I can powder coat the roof blk if you don’t like the blue roof .

The 3rd pix is a pic of a forum members razor just to show how the cage will look mounted .
