Racer Tech 2016 Contingency Program is Open

Back for 2016 is our popular contingency program. This is definitely one of the better programs in the industry right now and we do this because we believe in helping aspiring racers get in to the sport. We feel our products are the best any racer can get so this is a good shot for them to come out being competitive. As with anything good in life you need to pay to play. Our packages do save the racer money up front and they can earn all their money back by the end of the season if they do well. This program is also used as a required prerequisite for full-ride sponsorship’s.

Call or email for more details but the outline of this program is laid out HERE. This is basically the same program we ran last year with a new program added for the Polaris Ace to help get this class growing without costing the new customers too much up front.

Racer Tech Racer’s Clinch Two GNCC Championship at Ironman GNCC

Racer Tech’s Mouse Pratt claimed a podium finish in the Pro XC1 UTV class at the Ironman GNCC season finale to secure fourth place in the championship points race. Sean Bogden clinched the XC2 Pro Sport Championship with a fourth place finish, and Sam Yokley secured the Single Seat Championship with a second place podium finish to wrap-up a successful year of GNCC racing for the Race Tech Racers.

Mouse Pratt started fourth on the front row, and he moved up into the third spot by the third lap, which he held to the checkered flag to secure the final spot on the Pro XC1 UTV podium.

“I tried to reel them in, but I just wasn’t fast enough to get past third,” said Pratt. “The track was fast and rough today. It started to get rutted pretty badly at the end, and the Racer Tech A-Arms really held up well. It was a good day.

“This will definitely give me momentum going into next year,” added Pratt. “With the way these boys are running this year, fourth in points is good. These guys are super fast out here. So I just had to drive fast and take chances.”

John Yokley started on the fifth row and charged through the field with his uncle, William Yokley, and the pair battled nearly the entire race swapping positions back and forth, but in the end, John was able to pull away and secured a sixth place finish

“I was happy to put this race together and finish in the Polaris 900S,” said John Yokley. “We’re looking forward to next year. We’re going to be running the new 1000S. William and I hooked up for a few laps, but it’s just hard to catch up to the frontrunners when you start on the fifth row.”

William Yokley, who finished eight, agreed. “The machine is good and has been all year long, but when you start that far back, by the time I got up with the leaders, I didn’t have enough for the win,” said William Yokley. “The competition is just so stiff out here. The Polaris 900S works really well and we’re happy to finish. The Racer Tech suspension is flawless. The more time we put on it, the better it gets.”

Bogdan, in just his second year of XC2 competition, won a tight title chase with his fourth place finish.

“I stayed conservative here so I could win the championship,” said Bogdan. “In two years, I never thought I could win this championship. We finished strong. The Racer Tech bumpers and nerf bars were keys for me today. This was a tight course, and I had to blow through some brush and trees late in the race.”

In the Ace Single Seat Class, Sam Yokley clinched the championship with his second-place finish. Yokley took the holeshot at the start and drove conservatively to protect his points lead.

“I was just taking my time, making sure I didn’t break anything,” said Yokley. “I just wanted to finish to wrap up the championship. The Racer Tech A-arms were great through those creeks because they cleared all of the rocks.”

Paralyzed racer Jesi Stracham put in great run and scored a top five finish in her Racer Tech Polaris ACE, which has been specially prepared for Stracham and outfitted with hand controls.

“I finished, and it was a top five…I’m so stoked,” said Stracham. “I was full throttle and ready to go. My Racer Tech Polaris Ace is unbelievable. Racer Tech really set me up this year, and they were really there for me all season.

“We’re inspiring so many people and that’s why I’m doing this,” added Stracham. “Just because you get down, doesn’t mean you can’t get back up. I’m paralyzed and I’m doing what I love.”

The Ironman GNCC wrapped up the 2015 racing season, and the entire Racer Tech team finished out the year with great results including two championships and combined for thirteen podium finishes, which speaks to the determination of the racers and the durability of the Racer Tech components to get them to the finish line.

Racer Tech – Scratch-and-Dent Sale Thread

So the girls have been piling up a load of stuff that actually looks pretty nice but just has a few scratches in it from handling, etc. It’s really almost nothing but just a little too much for us to feel comfortable selling it at normal price per our higher standards.

We were thinking of trying a "Scratch and Dent" sale to see how it goes. We can keep this thread updated as we sell stuff and can always add more as time goes on if it’s a hit.

If you see something you want just post what it is and "I’ll take it". You’ll have 24 hours to get a call in here to place an order. We also have the availability of these parts listed on our site on each product page they apply to. Maggie will keep the site updated as well. As with anything, this will all be first come first serve.

Please note, there will be no returns or credits on any of these parts and they are sold "as-is". There is no compromise to the fit, finish or product strength. These are simply scuffed up parts.

All prices are 20% off unless otherwise noted.

All parts are in our standard black powdercoat finish unless otherwise noted.

Thanks!

Racer Tech – XP1K / XP Turbo Long Travel is HERE

After two years of development we are proud to announce this release.

This kit delivers the ultimate balance of stability, travel and handling. There is no other kit with more time spent in R&D than this one and it will show when you drive on it. The weight bias of the cars were carefully calculated and the wheelbase was stretched accordingly. The static geometry was adjusted and modified countless times during R&D until the perfect balance was achieved.

Just like all Racer Tech arms, the weak OEM ball joints are eliminated with this kit with race proven FK Bearings chromoly heim joints and mono-balls. Racer Tech XP 1000 arms use a high-clearance design to allow you to transverse the toughest terrain with ease. The 4130 Chromoly tubing we use makes them nearly bullet-proof for the times when you choose to run over obstacles even larger than the clearance allows for. The material and the design also make them nearly indestructible for any other abuse you may put on them all the way up to professional level racing environments. An additional benefit of Racer Tech’s design is the ultimate balance of strength vs. weight. This complete kit only adds 20lbs. to your RZR even with all the extra strength and performance it provides.

This kit was designed to use OEM sized shocks for the customers who already have good shocks or those looking to build their ultimate UTV in stages. The OEM shocks have been proven to work fine with this system with replacement springs and revalving work. We have springs available and we recommend William Yokley for revalving. (Feel free to call for more info.)

Spring rub

I have a set of the duel rate RT Springs on fox Podiums for my 2013 RZR 800S

The rears both rub the shock housing bad. I’ve tried flipping the spacer, rotating the springs, etc with no avail. The preload is just 3/4" and I LOVE the ride but the rub is driving me nuts.

Help.
