I’m a newbie of the atv world and fallen in love with a renegade of a friend.
I’m from the bikes world and other radically different sports, owned a Mitsubishi pajero 3.5 till last year and I really miss my muddy walks…so…
here we go!
New member here from minnesota. I have been lurking for quiet some time on the forum and researching can-ams. I have had a few wheelers in the past, yamaha, honda, arctic cats but nothing really over a 450-500. I have a buddy that owns an arctic cat dealership so I was leaning that way, until I saw what the can-ams are capable of….
After reading and researching and watching videos well over a decade later I am ready to get back into atv’s. I did alot of hunting around and found a good deal on a 2015 XMR 1000 and closed on the deal today. I even got them to throw in a set of heated grips :).
I am heading on my 5 hour drive to pick it up Friday, pretty stoked. Cant wait to give it a rip on some trails and hopefully some mud but I have all winter to play in the snow :).
I am looking forward to some mods and participating in your forum, lots of good info here thanks in advance!

I have a 2014 RTS which I bought after going to Spyderfest with my new 2011 RSS and realizing that I really wanted/needed an RT. I put 3000 miles in the first 6 weeks of getting it. I’m not too impresses with BRP as a company but I love my Spyder.
I bought the BUDS software so I wouldn’t be at the mercy of the dealer and I’m planning on getting a laser alignment setup as well.
As a result of that I created 3 web sites for other people that had bought the BUDS system and or the Laser Alignment system so that they could get the word out.
