Hey Guys, i’ve been researching on this site for the past several months and finally bought myself a new ride! My first Can Am (or atv) ever and i couldn’t be more excited. I had an XMR800 picked out but decided at the last moment to go for a Max instead. I don’t mind building up my ride anyways…
Here she is!
And less than 24 hours later, i got her pretty much striped down and ready to begin installing the BRP rad relocate and BRP snorkel. Should be fun! :th_smiliepullhair:
Anyways, just wanted to thank everyone here for such a great, informative forum. Looking forward to meeting new people for riding.
I’ve been riding skidoo all my life but this is my first can am. I picked it up last weekend and still can’t wipe the smile off my face. I’ll use the search as much as I can, but is there anything I should know about an 09 outlander 650xt? I’m from Minnesota.
Thanks,

Hello everyone. I just joined the can-am fam yesterday afternoon, and already couldn’t be happier! I’ve rode Hondas all my life and i feel as if I can never go back! I purchased a 2015 Outlander 650xmr, and I just gotta say…..This thing moves!!!!!! As for me, I’m more hands-on than your average back yard mechanic and wanted something turn-key. This thing has it all!!! I look forward to keeping this thing maintained top notch. I have a passion for anything on wheels(and some that don’t), and really take pride in keeping them running like the day I bought it.

I promise to do my part and USE THE SEARCH BUTTON, but forgive me if I don’t know exactly what I’m looking for. This is a new world for me. Any advice(or anything I should know) before I make a "rookie" mistake would be appreciated.
Like I said, I’ve riden Hondas for the past 13-15years, and not used to the incredible quality this machine has to offer. Thanks in advance, and I’m looking forward to a long relationship with my new bike!
