First post/clutch problems

This is my first post but I joined in order to get some info from the more experienced. I recently was riding my new to me 2011 XT 1k and before checking my cvt I went through a big mud hole, stupid I know but it happened. Well first I had check engine and transmission signal fault codes pop up. Fixed that. Now I’m having problems shifting. As in it jumps into reverse and dosent want to change into any other gears while it’s running. Shifts like butter with motor off. I serviced my one way and actually am waiting for sealed bearings from uatv-tech. But the one way seems to spin freely. But it seems as if the belt is dragging or grabbing and not letting it to shift "smoothly". Thanks for any help I work 3rd shift so I’ll replied as soon as possible. It’s on my mind 24/7 so I’ll get to you as soon as possible

New to the group but long time owner and abuser of a 2006 Bombardier Outlander Max 400. Yeah, I know they changed to Can-Am but it’s a Bombardier. Bought it new in Dec 05 and had to search high and low for the camo version. Rode it hard till I moved to the metroplex and it basically got demoted to being used by my parents on their occasional hunting trips. It’s been stored outdoors in the weather and poorly treated maintenance wise. I’m back in God’s country now and trying restore it to its former glory with some add ons to go with it.

That’s what brings me here. I’m looking for any and all information on possible performance upgrades and how to route snorkels. Don’t plan on deep water crossings but I am an avid duck hunter and if the need arises to cross a creek or slough I want to be prepared.

Any help is appreciated. I’m not scared to wrench and not new to it either.
