Howdy from the new guy!

Howdy Peeps!

Just wanted to say hey to everybody! I just joined up after buying myself a fancy new 2015 Can-Am Outlander 650 XT. I love this thing! Been riding for several years now but only on my buddies quads. So whatever they had. Most recently I have been riding a Grizz 660, Honda EX300 and a Raptor 700R. This Can-Am puts them both to shame! I’m looking forward to talking to everyone here and hopefully finding some trails and groups to go riding with. I’m a convert from the Truck off road world to the ATV world so be easy on the Rookie 😉 Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Peace Out Peeps!

New can am owner

Just bought my first brand new can am…i bought an outlander 570 lxmr..2016…i was riding an 03 rancher that was built for mud…but with the power steering and suspension, its like a pinto vs a ferrari. I love it thus far….im close to nh, so the ridings ok, but id love to find some more mud and slop to get it nice and dirty ;-)…i hate buying new stuff cuz i hate to get it dirty lol…its a catch 22 i guess..
Anyway…awesome forum….lots of info

New to the can ams

Get my 2013 XMR off my buddy here on Oct 6th, looking forward to riding it a little more.
He bought it new then quickly after that he broke his back in a car accident.
Anyhow the bike has 500 kms on it and I have picked it up for a real good deal.

Sold off my kingquad 750 axi on 30" silverbacks and am now ready for some Rotax fun.
I am an avid forum user so I will be busy doing some reading until my buddy gets back and I can pick it up

Avid Can Am Rider is Frustrated

Hello everyone, I am an avid Can Am rider and an overall Brp person. I own a 2014 Can Am 1000 XTP with all the options. My first can am was a 2008, 650 outlander. I am frustrated with the 1000 as it does not seem like a great machine compared to the 650. My question for today is: Have others on here had issues with the u-joints at 1,450 miles? My bike is maintained but despite this just had to change both u-joints which was expensive.

I love to play in the mud and ride difficult trails. My bike has the rad relocated and a snorkel on it. I am not afraid to ride it but it is not abused. I just don’t believe in keeping it pretty by riding on straight trails where it never gets dirty.

I was going to purchase another can am but am now having second thoughts.

Any feedback is appreciated.
