I am I the process of negotiating the purchase of a Pitster Pro Lil Mojave from Gary at Motortoys USA (Linden UT) . I live in deepest darkest Western Australia and so I am going to have it shipped by slow boat.
Has anyone got one of these? I’be been given the impression that it is an upgrade on the Double X and of course, its advertised as being better than the RZR 170, but have you driven one? I am particularly interested in knowing if there is any upgrade that I need to have happen before it is shipped. It has a long way to go and I do not want to have to wait to get it to know that I need to Mod it / add anything after market.
Its for my 8 yr old, who is currently driving a 110 CC china buggy. Its a bit of a lemon. I want something reliable and capable enough to go where his Dad goes in his side by side.
buddy got his kit last month from evolution and today we took it out.. holy hell did they do a nice looking job on this kit and fit and finish look like something that is from can am
he purchased the stm secondary and it is working very well, we put my stock xds turbo maverick against it and it was quick to see the bigger boost was showing up.. never seen any more turbo lag than the stocker with the borg warner turbo
at 14psi boost its pulling a lot harder than the stock 5 lbs and so far engine is holding power with out any issue, evo claims to have months on the kits with out issue pushing in the 160plus hp or over 200 hp off the crank
so far no issues with power train or axles, even at that much over stock power, ut would think that axles should be next week link.. cost was 4 grand and took about 6 hrs.. total bolt on kit
wish I had grabbed some vids of the difference, truly amazing what these sxs are able to make from power to weight ratio.. its a real handful when spooled up ripping threw trees, and puts suspension to its limits quick on jumps.. it broke loose on dry pavement
might have to put my order in soon for this as well if kit and engine hold together..
I heard this was not to far off, but everything beefed up. Cage, components, and beffed up Apex motor. We shall see. It’s been on the back burner for 3 years now

Side note: found someone selling a 250 mini buggy swapped with a 600cc 1994 Kawasaki street bike motor, axles off a 900 rzr and frame reenforced …says itll do 100mph although that’s not what I want it for at least the power is there, good idea if done right or am I asking for trouble? It’ll same width and length of 570 just sits a littler lower.
