Convince me to stay Polaris…..

So, I have my RZR 4 800 which I will continue to modify and have no complaints…… But I am about to give the GF the RZR 4 and am looking for a 2 seater 1K or 900 turbo. What are the cons of the Cam AM 1K turbo or the arctic cat which I can get for 18K new, VS say a RZR 900 or 1K Turbo? I honestly want to stay below 18K And would love a turbo car. I am not on the polaris band wagon but I am impressed with my RZR 4. So any honest issues with the Can AM turbo or the Arctic cat Let me know.

Waiting for Flames……

Jumping ship to Big Blue

Worked for the last 6 years to make my 50" RZR to best that I could be but I will be jumping ship to Yamaha new SXS 1000R, my RZR was my first Polaris and after the air filter cluster that plagued the 2008-2009 models then swapping out the motor to a Yamaha Apex motor, now Yamaha has produced a true sport SXS with a real 5 speed manual transmission that will leave all the other SXS in the dust and the legendary Yamaha bulletproof motors and quality of workmanship that is second to none…time to move on…:worthless:

YXZ Turbo kit avaliable, 300+HP!

Apparently my last thread got deleted because I posted a link to MPI’s site so here we go again lol.

The YXZ engine is essentially a Genesis 120 engine with a 2mm smaller bore. The Genesis 3cyl has been used in Yamaha sleds since 2006 so a lot of R&D has already been done on this engine making it easy to turbo.

Some of the highlights of the YXZ turbo kit

•155HP in desert conditions on pump gas. This motor only requires 5 psi of boost to make over 150HP while competitive vehicles require much higher boost levels.

•Higher HP variants & upgrades will be available. We have been producing extreme performance variants for this motor exceeding 300HP. This 3 cylinder motor’s performance and capabilities have been our daily business since 2005.

•Upgrades: Stage 1 190HP, Stage 2 240HP, Stage 3 280-300HP

•Bolt-on installation in hours, not days. No fabrication required, all parts included.

•No need for expensive clutching, as this unit has a manual transmission. Eliminating all the problems associated with CVT clutches.

•Bolt-on Intercooler design. Our intercooler bolts directly to the engine’s throttle bodies with o-ring billet surfaces providing a simple, rigid and resilient connection without all the hassles of individual hose connections to each cylinder.

The YXZ engine has forged rods and pistons from the factory so no internal upgrades are needed, just a head shim at higher boost levels if you want to keep running pump gas.
