My annual Maine Trip

This years annual Maine trip this year was to Bingham, Maine.

We have been here a couple times, but a few of our wives have not. Its close to a couple restaurants and 25 miles from a town with "amenities". 🙂 Important to keep momma’s happy. 🙂

We clocked 479 miles in 5 days of riding. NO rain outs, couple showers on two days. Was my wife’s first time in the drivers seat and she LOVED IT! She even tackled a couple obsticals I did not think she would want to. Years past in my Jeeps, she would get out and walk as I drove over the "rocks".

Anyhow we unloaded the machines and emptied the trucks and grabbed a couple cold ones and relaxed…

We had two flats, one blown cooling fan and a near big problem with "pops" and loading up the ACE.

Seems he "forgot" to engage 4WD and when he "goosed" the throttle…well gravity is a AWESOME lo side "finder" 🙂

The trails where perfect, two days it was a lil’ dusty, but it rained most nights so dust was kept to a minimum. 🙂

We went to Greenville and ate lunch at Kellys Landing on Moosehead Lake.

The last night we went out to dinner and had a beautiful rainbow and some really angry looking skys!!

Outlaw Trails around Ivy Branch

Anyone know of or have mapped out ‘outlaw trails’ around Ivy Branch? I know down south there are plenty of outlaw trails off the Hatfield McCoy trails but I’m unsure of any that are actually mapped up north around Ivy and Little Coal River.

If anyone knows of any…ahhem BobT….let us know!
