New From Park City Utah

We just got our ’13 900 4 XP. So far we love it. Took it to "Little Moab" yesterday and was amazed at the climbing capabilities. We have done Moab in our Hummers for the last 9 years and decided to relinquish the Hummers and do the RZR fun. I have noticed that ground clearence is an issue, we are running Sedona rims and Buzz Saw tires. Rims are 12" and tires are 26". The RZR already has polaris sliders and complete UCP coverage. Is there a lift and tire size, with stock motor, that would be the way to go for best clearence and performance in Moab or other crawling applications? It already has installed the ARS FX rear trailing arms. Any information that I can get from the forum is greatly appreciated.

Hi!

Hello all. My name is Manny and I am from Gilbert, AZ. I am totally new to offroading so my experience level is absolutely zero. I just got a 2015 RZR 900S in ‘white lightning’ trim a few weeks ago and am looking forward to making new friends and learning to ride the local trails. I also joined the Meetups group ‘Exreme ATV Ridérs’. Mods so far are LnR half windshield, canvas roof, and Dragonfire 4pt harnesses.

New from Canada

Hi,

New to the forum as well as RZR’s. I am a week or so away from receiving a 2015 RXR XP 4 1000 EPS in Voodoo Blue. I wanted white, however, it would be another 4 weeks away. The RZR is actually at the dealer now but I ordered a bunch of accessories and a few more are on the way. I am in the car business so I do like dealer installed parts and don’t have a bunch of extra time to install myself. This is what I got now or on the way…any feedback through experience would be greatly appreciated. The dealer is an old friend of mine so he took a good bite outta the costs:

-HMF Dual full system BLACK OUT exhaust
-HMF Gen 4+ optimizer
-UMP filter
– Odyssey battery with another odyssey for aux systems
-LED headlights with anodized black face plate and blue bezel rings with all spot light configuration
-grill with LED bar in all black
-4500lbs winch
-4 point seatbelts
-front and rear bumpers from polaris
-front intrusion bar from polaris
-mesh rear panel
-1/2 flip down windshield
-1/2 aluminum lower doors from polaris
-under body protection kit… Thinking from polaris but I said whatever is recommended
-MPX complete stereo
-front/ rear arm guards
-extra fuse panel

I asked for a low profile, high lumen light bar… The one guy recommended a speed demon 20" light with 6000 lumens. Not really thinking that’s the one and I am not committed so advice would be appreciated! I have 2 Rigid on my truck that are combined close to 70000 so thinking the SD is not the one I am looking for. I was contemplating a Dalton clutch but not sure if I should. Also looked at ordering HCR front and rear A-Arms but think that would be over kill for my usage.. lol I will also be doing a wrap in a cammo I like… Almost like some WWII battleships and cruisers were done in.

Thanks for having me!

Thoughts?

Cheers,

Ryan

Hello All,

Headed down to Union City this weekend to pick up my new Stealth Black Rzr 1000. I’m very excited to get this machine.

I’ll be stopping in Nashville on the way back and then into West Virginia to ride Hatfield and McCoy. Anyone going to be down there Saturday?

Thank you Guys!!

Hello from Connecticut!

LONG time member over at the sister site for ATV’s cause I owned a 700 Sportsman since 2009. GREAT machine…

Today I made the jump to HERE!

I bought a 2015 RZR900 Trail!

I’ll pick it up this weeked!

We usually take two weeks in two separate trips up to Jackman, Bingham or FT. Kent Maine. This first trip in July will be Bingham.

BUT my riding buddy also got same machine so we likely gonna make a early "break in" run next month. 😉

We mostly trail ride with the wives. The Kids are older and now ride them selves on there own machines. 😉

Looking for ward to talking to y’all and gleaning all the tips and tricks I can!

Hello from AZ

Hi everyone,
New member finally although I’ve been searching, reading and stealing all of your great ideas for a few years.
I was a 900XP owner for a few years which I recently sold and moved into a 1000.
First impression is I miss my 900’s handling and driftability but love the 1000’s power and ride quality. I know we can’t have it all. Or can we? hint, hint, I have a stage 4+ from ShockTherapy on my 1000. More on that later.

Good to be here. Thanks ahead of time for all of the answers to my dumb questions and great advice.
