Another new member from Illinois

Hi all my name is Mike and I am new to Rzr’s and this forum. I have had quads (1987 Honda 250x (stolen)and a 2000 Polaris Scrambler 500 4×4 ( still running strong)) but this is my first RZR. My son and I rented one at Silver Lake this summer and fell in love. Wife said she was ready to 4 wheel again ( I didnt ask twice) and searched and bought this 2016 RZR 900 Trail Fox Edition. We go to the U.P. often and alot of the trails require 50", so that is what I got. Hope to go on some "cruises" with Forum members in the future. Happy New Year and see you on the trails. Mike

Picked up a Jagged X edition a few months ago. Finally had some time to join the RZRFORUMS community. Our ride came with rear seats installed- matching PRPs, and 29" tires on 16" M20 rims. We installed PRP harnesses, half windshield, low profile front bumper and a home made roof. Now fixing it up for next season.

Soon to be General Owner

Made a deal yesterday on a deluxe but not sure on delivery yet. Hopefully mid January. Sold a Rhino I had kept for 7 years because I just didn’t see a good replacement for it till the General was revealed. Hope it lives up to the hype.
Been into off-roading since 81 starting with a 185s ATC, thru the 250Rs, then TRX250Rs, LT500Rs, Banshees, Preadators and Outlaws. The Rhino was my first SXS and the more we used it the more the quads just sat unless we were heading to the dunes.
Can hardly wait to get in the seat so hopefully you guys getting yours soon post your thoughts on it after a ride or two

New Guy.

Hey. I’m from Central TEXAS, into motorsports of all kinds. My background is mostly two wheeled. Just purchased a used 900 xp. Looking to learn as much possible, and have a bunch of fun. Thanks for having me. :ride:

Hello from Georgia

Hi Guys,

Just got my new Rzr up and going. I bought it totaled at an insurance auction and have spent the last couple weeks building it and now I’m ready to ride!

I’m in the Athens area and have heard Durhamtown is a great place to ride. Are there any members close to Athens that need another riding buddy?

I don’t have a side by side yet but plan to soon. My son(4) does not like being left at home, so I’ve got to get something that he can safely go with me.

I joined so I could figure out what I want(I think a 1000xp) and also so I can do all upgrades/maintenance myself.

Anybody here from middle TN area? I would like to find a good group to ride with

Hey nice Forum

Hello,

Just wanted to welcome myself to the forum.

I currently live in Springville,CA
on 10 acres next to some Mormons. :rm_thumbdown:

My family has a couple hundred acres in the middle of Texas where I got me a little 16 acre plot to homestead on. Once I get this house remodeled and on the market I’m out of here!!! :ride:

My ride is a 1970 Honda Trail 70 that hasn’t ran since 1995.

My future brother in law is a master welder and fabricator. He has made things for all kinds of off-road vehicles. He is currently unhappy with his job fabricating things for RZR’s out in Denver.

While they were here for Christmas we got to talking about them moving out to Texas with us. During that conversation we decided to start a RZR/YXZ accessory/trailer company and a little race team. There is a bunch of small sxs circuits out in TX we want to enter to show off our hardware.

Im not sure if this is a good idea or not. I don’t know a whole lot about this industry. I do know its going to be fun hopefully profitable as well.
Any advice or opinions would be welcome.

Thanks

New Member / RZR 170 Ecotrons EFI

Sup Guys. Im new to the forum world so please bare with me.
My boy rides a 2013 RZR 170 but I had to liquidate my toys to make that happen so I just turn wrenches and watch for now.
I am in the middle of doing an Ecotrons EFI conversion and have ran into a few issues. The OEM throttle cable is about an inch to short and Im scratching my head on the best way to tackle installing the electric fuel pump. The factory fuel lines run from the top of the tank and then to the pet cock. Has anyone had to resolve these issues?
