What’s up everyone. Name’s Scott. I’m no stranger to UTVs, but I’ve never owned one. Well, yesterday, that changed. I met a man in Charleston, and bought my first Polaris. 2015 RZR 900 Trail, camoflaged (NOT EPS).
Guy did a lot of custom work to it, including a full, wrapped, steel exo-skeleton, with both rear and front bumpers, and custom diamond plate doors. He put a marine amp, speakers w/ a bluetooth controller, racing harnesses, upgraded it to a car battery w/ an oscillator, 3" lift for the front, and gave me the rear spacers. On top of, gave me three spare tires w/ rims. 3k miles, 176 hrs, new belt, and tires, w/ only 400 miles on those. All for an even $10k.
Don’t know enough to know if that was a killer deal, or if I just wasted some money, but at this point, I wouldn’t care. I’m so damn excited to go play today. We didn’t get home until late last night, so I didn’t have the time. I did drive it about a mile up the road to my brothers house, to annoy the piss out of him. He’s jealous.
I’m taking it up on my farm today. Only vehicle that can currently make it up that road this time of year is my brothers piece o’shit Toyota. (Shh, it’s really a nice truck, but don’t tell him I said that) So, I’ma get it up there and see what she’ll do. Let ya know if anything bad happens. I’ve a tendency to do that.
Being a new RZR owner, any tips? Belts slip, bearings go out, DON’T DRIVE UNDER A LAKE! Shit like that?
