Hi there. Although I’ve been a member, here, since May 2014 (and an unregistered lurker prior to that), I don’t believe that I have formally introduced myself.
My name is Todd, I live in the panhandle of Texas, and own a ’15 XP1K.
This Forum is a great place to make friends, learn, and hopefully help others, as well. I have communicated with FJK on a few occasions, and he is a generous and courteous guy–a great Forum admin.
So there we go……thank you for a good Forum.
How are you all doing I have a 2013 Polaris Rzr 800 I’m trying to figure out how big I can go on tires on a stock drive train and suspension any recommendations will be appreciated
Hey everyone, I’m new to the forums but I will be on here daily. I just became a sponsored vendor and we are an authorized dealer in: Totron LED’s, Rigid Industries LEDs, Wetsounds & BlueFire Whips. We also are a full motorcycle/atv parts and apparel shop specializing in motorcycle helmets. We have a retail store located near Houston, TX but we are setup for shipping, so hit me up with what you want and we can normally ship it the same day.
Hello everyone. New to the forum. I was interested in purchasing a 2015 rzr 1000 4 seater. I was enjoying utube until I saw these things on fire. I have youngsters and a wife. Is a rzr for us ? Fire ? Fire ? I am worried I cant remove the children fast enough in a emergency? Only some models are more likely to catch fire ? Please advise ? Thanks

Guys I’m a a paraplegic that’s been in a wheelchair for the last 40 years. I’ve got myself convinced that I li9ke to own either a used rzr xp 1000 or a new 900 s. The last time I did any serious off roading was back in the 70’s when I owned a Honda Odyssey that I’d shoehorned a Cyuna 440 engine into. It would climb really well until it rolled over backwards.
I would roll it over backwards way more than most sane folks would ever want to.
I feel sure that I would be able to adapt automotive style hand controls to either machine but my main concern is getting in and out. Out should be easy ,gravity will do most of the work. Getting in is is a much bigger deal. From the floor to the top of my wheelchair cushion is about 21 inches. I actuallly sit down into it about 2 inches. I can boost up into a seat about 12 inch higher than that without too much trouble but anything higher will be a problem. None of the dealers around here has either a PR1K or a 900s in stock. They are all about ATVS. I wonder if you guys that have these machines would do me a favor and measure from the ground to seat surface for me? It would also help if I could get a measurement from the frontof the seat to the firewall with the seat all the way back and from tha front of the seat to the front of the door sill with the seat all the way back. The reason I picked these two models is a matter I figure I can pick up a RP1K with power steering used for about the same price as I can buy a new 900s limited. Any help or advise you may have would be welcome.
Just joined going to get a rzr after I sell some other toys. Been reading a lot on here and learning all I can. This site is awesome for somebody wanting to learn all they can. Thanks for a great site.
