RZR 170 added to my toy collection

Hello all, I’m new to the whole RZR thing, but I have been, and still am an avid dirt bike and street bike rider. My son rides a 2-wheeler, but my daughter has determine they aren’t for her.

I picked up a 2009 170 with the vent racing intake, 26mm carb, 180 big bore kit, and I don’t know if it has an upgraded head or not (I’m not sure how to tell). The engine is fairly fresh with just a few runs on it, but the tuning was horribly wrong. Not a little, but waaaay off. I’m in the process right now of getting the carb setup correctly so we can see what this little machine can do!

I’m hoping it will last my daughter 2-3 years, so we can then upgrade her to something like a 570 side-by-side (she’ll never use the 800/900/1000 power).

Me, I’ll keep with my dirt bikes, and we’ll see how my son grows, but for now, he’s sticking to dirt bikes too.

If anyone in Colorado wants to meet up and you have one of these little 170’s, let me know!

Pick it up tomorrow!

Hey guys! Thanks for letting me join in on the fun! I do a lot of quadding up here in Alberta and finally decided to make the switch! I’m pretty excited about picking up my 2015 rzr 900 trail tomorrow! I went with the 50" model to start just to ensure I can keep up with the atvs I ride with. My only concern is that the unit may be a little tippy! Have you guys found this to be true? If so would you recommend wheel spacers and a different offset tire? Thanks a bunch and look forward to joining in the discussions!

I used to laughs at you guys

I’d drive by some dunes or desert area and see a bunch of people riding their UTV’s around in the dust and heat and just laugh to myself thinking what a bunch of looneys….

We recently moved to a new home and our neighbors have a couple rzrs and invited is out….just to be a good neighbor I agreed. Within 60 seconds of driving their rzr down a gutted road doing 50 mph I was hooked…within a month I bought my own rzr and now am in the process of doing what every God fearing American man does….stick every damn accessory on it I possibly can!

New From Brasil !

Hey All.

My name is Ari and I leave in the city of Brasilia, the capital of Brasil.

I’m 62 YO and I have a vast experience on off-roading, using Land Rovers.

Now, I’m just amazed about this Polaris world and I’m trying to understand what would be the best option for me and my wife to ride together.

As a off-road fan, I’m sure I’ll enjoy a lot your experiences e I hope to be useful here, if you guys need any thing.
