Hey guys, I’m ready to purchase an overhead stereo for my 570. I’ve pretty much narrowed it to the Swamp donkey/Boss audio system(~$350) or the SSV works 2 speaker system(~$500). Will the SSV be worth the extra ~$150? Just looking for a good system – not a mobile concert hall. Thanks for any responses and opinions.

Ssv or polaris
Hello Iv been wanting to do a radio in my RZR for a while now I have an XP T with a digital display and I want to make sure that it displays my songs when they are playing. I think SSV has a little bit better quality than Polaris but I want to make sure that my digital display will still show the songs if I buy SSV. Does anyone have in SSV setup for some review? Also probably going to do the subwoofer I love the fact that it still has a small glove box I also wanted to do the sound bar but I can’t have a mirror if I do that also thought about the rear speakers but I can’t do that if I have a back panel? Any help would be appreciated thanks
Rocker Switch Repair?
Does anyone have an affordable or Macgyver way to repair the stock headlight switch tabs that keep it snug in the dash… without buying an expensive new Polaris one? I accidentally snapped off two of the locking tabs on the switch so it is now loose in the dash! Thanks
Dual battery or just an Optima???
Been trying to decide if want to go with dual batteries with an isolator between, or just replace standard OEM battery with an Optima and keep the OEM battery charged and in reserve unwired. Initially thought dual was best with an Optima as either primary or 2nd battery, but viewed too many YouTube so kinda confused. Right now know need additional battery for snow plow which when needed the winch gets lots of use in a short period of time. Past experience with ATV/plow setup taught me that much (always need charge when done or else no start next time needed). Also sometime will be getting a light bar, but that’s about it for additional electrical needs.

Lightbars
Is there such a thing as, "too much light"? 😉
Help! LEad Light bar causing RF Interference
Every time I turn my light bar on my stereo loses all reception. I played with grounds to no improvement. Google search revealed that LED lights actually
Create large EMI fields that kill radio reception. How do I cure this?? Half the time I listen to the stereo I want the light bar on at night…. Right now I have a stranded 12ga wire shoved in the female antenna port and about 12′ of wires looped back and forth under the dash. Works great without light bar. Any ideas??

Rider X users. Question
I’m new to using the rider X app. I have it on my I- phone, I-pad, and more importantly on a Samsung tab 3. On all three devices the screen or map is always in the vertical aspect. Is there a way to rotate the screen or map to use it in the horizontal position? I plan on using my tab 3 with a ram mount and would prefer to position it with the long side horizontal. Tia.
RZR Stock Tail Light Turn Signal?
Scrounging the internet and especially the RZR forum here trying to determine how I’m going to go about a street legal conversion here with my 900s. Before I get too deep into this let me tell you I’m a cheap bastard and I hate cutting or drilling anything into my ride. So as far a turn signals are concerned I was all ready to order parts and I was assuming I was going to drill a hole in the back of my stock tail lights and add an led grommet-ed round light to act as my turn signals cuz I like the idea of using the stock enclosures to achieve this. Now I know I can use other options but I saw this and liked it. So I pull off my stock light in back and low and behold i see an unused pin that says "turn" and I says to myself….hey what if i just found a pin to replace the dummy in the connector and ran my wires as usual from the flasher? So I ask my fellow RZR owners, are my thunks flawed? would the brake light override the turn signal-signal? I’ve seen other posts suggesting cutting and splicing brake wires and such, but like I say I really hate doing that. Anyway your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Included, I believe is a picture of the back of the stock taillight assembly to show the unused pin.

Spring mounts needed?
Hey everyone. I have done quite a bit of searching and cannot find any info about whether you should/should not use a spring base mount for lighted whips. I just received my dual 6 ft whips from Tribal and am looking at the mounts. I think they will work great but just thought of using a spring base to lessen the shock load or bend on the base of the whip. Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on this? Im sure they would work just fine without them but am curious. Thanks in advance.
Thanks
Thom
