I installed the rear mounted sub with the built in amplifier in my XP 1000. I had to cut the plug off that has the blue, red, white, and black wires (these are not the main power and ground). I have a Bluetooth unit running to an Alpine amp through RCAs. I assume the blue wire is the remote turn on for the sub amp, but how and where do I run the remaining red white and black. I bought a couple of RCA y’s and tried to rig it with no success.
I stopped by Ham Radio Outlet and asked them for radio suggestion.
They recommended a Powerweax DB750x Dual Band UHF & VHF radio. They said that way anybody that uses a VHF or UHF radio I would be able to communicate with. Best of both worlds he said.
He also recommended CA 2x 45R nmo antenna. He said 6.2 DB gain on UHF and 3.8db gain on VHF.
He said that antenna would blow away any no ground plane antenna.
Does anyone know what size fuse is to be in the in-line fuse holder on the wet sounds BT controller?
I bought one from a forum member, pulled out the fuse to get the controller mounted & it dropped somewhere into the floor on my RZR or around my garage.
What gauge wires are you guys running on your light bar set up? I am going to build a relay box to run light bars and lighted whips and want to know what gauge to use on the secondary side to the lights and battery.

I recently bought my first RZR, a used 2013 800S and there were a few things that needed repair. I’m now down to getting the stereo working. It came with a SSV overhead first-gen unit. No control buttons on the outside just a remote to control the unit.
Can someone tell me the correct battery to use in the remote? It had a CR2032 in it but that does not seem to activate the display on the remote. I realize the remote is probably bad but before I bought a new one I thought I would be sure I had the correct battery in it.

Well after a year and a half of use my rzr 800 batteries bit the dust. I have replacement batteries and have installed them and hook up everything the way I THOUGHT it was but now I have a problem. The machine starts fine but the winch won’t work. It’s a warn winch and It worked before but I didn’t use it last ride. Now when I try to reel the cable in all I get is a loud click up front under the hood. Is it possible that I damaged something while replacing the batteries? I did pressure wash it off real good so the job would be easier but I have done that plenty of times before. Was hoping to go play today but it’s not looking good. I ride alone a lot and don’t feel comfortable going by myself without the winch. Any help is greatly appreciated.
