So I have an XP1K with the factory battery and and Odyssey secondary battery that runs all my accessories and is on a circuit breaker along with a True Power Battery Isolator.
It has been a few weeks since I had run it for any length of time. When I got in to start it up and take it for a quick spin I noticed that my dc charging was fluctuating betwenn 14 and 12.3 continuously. I got to looking and when it was at 14 the Blue light on my Isolator was off but when it went to 12.3 the blue light was on. So I am wondering is my factory Polaris battery getting ready to go out or is it my voltage regulator? Anyone got any wisdom on this to share?
I am having issues getting my 1000’s dashboard mounting pins (plastic nipples on the back with he metal clips) to seat into the glove box subwoofer. Anyone else have this issue? If so what did you do to fix it?
Stock XP 1000 comes with blue switches. To look the best should I continue to buy blue rockers? Or would it look fine with another color? I was going to go amber since I have amber accent lights and Orange Madness paint. But then I thought it might look strange since the stock dash and switches are blue?
New to the sxs and want a good rocking stero looked up the wet sounds stealth 10 sounds good and loud, is anyone running the mtx mudsys41? If so do you like it? Is it loud? And also which is better the wet sounds or mtx? Thanks guys
I am planning to run a 180 way 30 inch LED lightbar with 2 18 watts each cube lights as well as two 4 foot led whips. I am unsure what the wattage is on the whips. Will this set up run the stock alternator hold up to this set up in addition to the stock head lights, taillights and brake lights? I plan to run the cubes and lightbar on a relay set up. I am not running a secondary battery currently.
Just got a new Wetsounds 10 sound bar and was wondering if wiring it direct to the battery was the correct way as long as it is fused close to the battery(5 inches or less)? I don’t want it to pull the battery down as it sits for extended periods at times just wasn’t sure if it drew any power when off, I read on here somewhere that this was the preferred way but was just making sure.
