I dont have any knowledge of ATVs, but have always wanted to buy one for riding out in the country where I live, and to have as a project to work on/modify (cheaper to work on than my Jeep).
I’m not sure if the hours/miles are high for this 4 wheeler, or if it is even a good 4 wheeler to start out with. I’m not looking to go mud bogging, or anything extreme, just something fun to ride. This will not be used to haul or pull anything.

a 2006 Rincon…Have a single point hitch and back blade..seems to be working well…The gothcha for me is the adjustment on the hitch. It is a screw and handle .Have to get off to raise or lower.I have put a Harbor Freight remote controlled winch on the back rack and that works much better.
I would like to put a 12v linear actuator on the hitch instead.
I have never messed with these actuators so could use some ideas..such as how to measure etc….Have read where some folks have done it but am unable to find a contact for them…Any help or suggestions appreciated.

I’ve owned a 2003 Rincon 650 for over a year and have been reading this forum from day one! I can almost always find answers here. I started with a Rincon that was smoking when I bought it and the prior owner told me it wouldn’t go into 4th gear! So I found that it needed top end service and that the wrist pin had severe wear. So a new crank/rod and top end service later I have it all back together and it runs like new… In first gear! When I shift from 1st to 2nd it feels like it’s down shifting or almost locks up the back wheels… Nothing grinds or makes any noise it’s just like the break is applied. I pulled the codes and have 10 (tcm) and 11 (tps) But I thought that could have been triggered by the disassembly process so I cleared them and they haven’t came back. the service manual list a trouble shooting procedure for this that points to the 1st clutch… But it shifted great before the rebuild. Any suggestions on where to start would be great!
Hi I’m new here…and I own a 2008 rin con 680 and the pgm fi unit is burn.I tried a friends computer and it started up the fuel pump with his. The problem is the part for it is so darn expensive and I found a 2006 one for cheap…I’m just wondering if the 2006 pgm-fi unit will work on my 2008 model? Thank you hoping for replies.

Have a 2007 Rincon 680, rebuilt top end and a little confused on torque required on smaller 5/16" bolts (3-cylinder, 5-Head, 2-under valve cover, and 5-on cover). Manual says 24 ft lb but this seem high. just checking don’t want to strip out threads. Please help – Thanks!
