hey everyone, i am interested in hearing about your grizzly and what accessories they have installed, also what you recommend. post some photos too!

I am debating on pulling the plug on a new grizzly. I want one for hunting and snow removal. But if i could buy this 66inch 19hp swisher finishing mower it would save me 5-7k from buying a commercial zero turn for our new house.

Yamaha , in effort to pump sales , has offered a FREE 2 year Y.E.S. warranty to buyers of new ATVs.
I paid for mine before they were available back in June , so I guess because I am so loyal to them , I get screwed out of a warranty.. Thanks Yamaha

So I’ve read a lot of diff people’s opinions of the power of the new 708 engine in the 16 Grizz and Kodiak. While some people seem happy with it, there have been some who have stated disappointment, some thinking it was a turd down low, etc.

I’ve had mine since late August, it’s approaching 50 hrs on it. 100% stock besides the wheels and tires in my sig. I have gotten on her hard just on my own multiple times and felt it was plenty quick compared to my previous modded machine, but definitely didn’t yank the front tires in the sky from a stop like some of us would have thought it would.

Well last night it was unseasonably warm here in KY. 9 machines gathered for a late afternoon til midnight ride. One of my buddies owns a 2013 700 with big gun exhaust, ehs programmer, ehs intake, and the ehs modded lid. Our tire diameter are the same, he does weigh some more than me but also the 16 model weighs more than previous years.

We were on some black top between trails and he pulls up beside me numerous times while cruising between 30 and 40 mph. We both would hit it and I would just walk away strong and keep pulling.

When we stopped he was like damn that thing ain’t no joke! He said I expected it to pull top end but not that hard that fast. He then proceeded to say I think I can get u off the start tho til 30 or so. So the next time we hit black top we lined em up and he said go, both from idle. Soon as we hit em I was gone. It pulled the modded 686 from the very bottom. He was absolutely stunned he said. He said I already liked em and how they look etc, but I really want one now!

My thoughts now are this, this new machine, is deceivly quick. Not saying it’s a rocket, but the power comes on nice and smooth and u just don’t realize it’s as fast as what it really is til u compare it to smthing.

Once some quality aftermarket go fast goodies become available, I can see this power plant really waking up once uncorked.

I’m gonna try to get some go pro videos of some rolls and digs with him to post up for y’all in the coming weeks if the weather doesn’t get horrible.

Hey I’ve been lurking for a while now and thought I might as well join. Y’all might not believe this but I’m ready for a new grizzly or maybe a wolverine r-spec. My old Yamaha Moto4 finally bit the dust after a 28 year career. Lol. The question is since I’ve never had a 4×4 machine and definitely have the need as most of my hunting grounds get really hard to navigate after big rains is can the wolverine r-spec handle really bad mud like the grizzly? I don’t want to spend the extra money and end up unhappy about being stuck all the time. I have to get across flooded farm land which can really boggy (Wheat fields) and if I get stuck there’s not much a winch is going to do for me in that situation.

Sorry for the long post. Just curious what your thoughts are. PS you’d be surprised where the old 2 wheel drive Moto4 has taken me and back. May she rest in peace.

Me and about 7-8 others are going to royal blue in Ky .. Would be nice to meet any other grizzly riders in the area. Will at least be 3 others in grizzly’s.. Will be ther by 9 am Sunday.

My grizzly tank only lasts about 30kms (15miles) then definitly need fuel and thats cruising 40 to 60kms/hr. Fuel guage now flashs although has worked for most of a trip. Full throttle it dies and gently ease up throttle to move and won’t idle for long.
Dealer replaced throttle injector and serviced now wants to do fuel pump but I am loathe to spend this money as I think they are guessing.
Maybe I am wrong and am under fuelling and its putting more in at wrong time? Wrong spark plug? (Maybe they put wrong 1 in) Ambiant air from 20c to 40c (100f) in the shade and chase cows slowly so done a plug? (or ideas reliable plug high temps) Not high elevation. Doesn’t boil fuel. Cleaned air filter.
Anyone had similar symtoms?
