New Exhaust tip keeps engine cooler??

I finally installed a new 2R tip last week. The fan seems to run much less now and less heat comes from out of the side panels. When my quad was new, you could see the first few inches of exhaust pipe glow pretty red and the fan would come on within a few minutes. It would turn on every other minute and off after only a few seconds. This was during winter in mass. Then I purchased an EHS lid and fuel controller. Pipe did not glow as bright red anymore and fan seemed to come on less and less even though the air temps rose. Now with the 2R tip installed the pipe doesn’t really glow anymore. The fan barely turns on now. Maybe because the tip is louder and its now hard to hear the fan but I can barely ever hear it run now.

Just curious if anyone else has had similar results.

How to best pull out bushes with Grizzly?

Hey guys. I have some bushes in the front yard that I want gone and was thinking about pulling them out with my Grizzly. Just wanted to get an idea about which way was the right way to go about it. I have a 2008 350 4×4. It is winch equipped as well.

Now I know that I need to run the water around the roots for a good period of time to soften them up, but I want to know how I should pull them with the ATV. Should I use the winch, or should I get some nice chain / rope to tie to the hitch and do it that way? If I do it with the hitch, should I be in 4 wheel or 2? Just don’t want to add any unneeded stress to the machine.

I have included pictures of the bushes as well so you guys can get a good idea of what I’m working with.

Good weekend at Attica IN Badlands

We rode at the Badlands in Attica IN this weekend. I put my new one way bearing to the test and it worked perfectly. The EPI purple spring and 1.5 mm shim were great.

I also learned that the local Polaris dealership rents the Ace machine for use in the park. I may try one next time we go just because they intrigue me.

Lots of wicked jeeps, side by sides, and all manner of ATVs!
Good times!
