Losing faith in the old girl

I’m not sure if I am just grumpy or pissed off or fed up.
I have been a grizzly fan ever since I couldn’t afford to own one now I have had a 600, 660 ,700 and a 450 (for 3 weeks ) but this 700 as of late has really started to drive me nuts. Just recently I have done

Rear knuckle bushings
Rear knuckle spacer
Rear bearings
Front axle.
Front boot
Played with allignment endlessly to lose wobble
Replaced rims as stocks kept failing me
Replaced battery
And order new tiered ends for the front

Seams like Everytime I ride this damn thing something goes out on me. I have almost had it with the thing and it only has 5000km on it. Pondering the inevitable sale and reinvest but in all honesty I just got it the way I want it and now it seams to have hit it’s wear point …. this is just my rant. Yamaha reliability rep is wearing thin

Suggestions on 2″ receiver mount kit

I have seen a few different mount kits for 2" receiver selling for $100 Can. I would like to be able to pull the hitch off my truck and slide it into the quad. My nephew did this with his 700 about 5 years ago but can’t find his brand anymore. One of the advantages is that it brings the ball out where it is easier to hook the game trailer up without difficulty. I have the 2014 550 Grizz and would like to know what some recommendations might be.
Thx

waterproofing fuel controller

I tried search and I couldn’t find much, I’ve tried a plastic bag and water still got in somehow. I was thinking of using rtv on the seams. Kinda redneck but I’m sure it would work. Also thought of buying a small pelican case and running the wires through a hole in the side with silicone. Last weekend I dumped a bunch of water out of it so I need to figure something out.

So what did you guys do to waterproof yours?

2012 grizzly 700

Hi y’all I just got a 2012 grizzly 700 with 82 hrs. Has 28 silverbacks, shock spacers, snorkeled. Also I was told it has a programmer and clutch work. My question is how would I be able to tell if it has programmer and clutch work. Also could I tell if the axles are heavey duty axles. Thanks

Newb needs some assistance

OK guys, hoping some of you could chime in here and help me out. First of all, let me say that I’m far from a do it yourself mechanic, but I have enough confidence to change out fluids and keep the basic maintenance schedule for my 2014 Grizzly 700.

After removing what seemed to be a zillion damn panels, I finally got into my airbox (for the first time—dealer did first service) and changed out the air filter. As I was putting everything back together, I noticed two small hoses (maybe breather hoses or overflows???), one clear and one black that were sitting there near my airbox attached to nothing.

Any idea where these two hoses go or what they are supposed to be attached to??? They are both about a pencil size in circumference. Thanks for any info.
