does anyone know how to find alternatives to the oem part numbers on batteries? this isnt for the grizz, this is for a 1997 yamaha badger i picked up. the stock battery in it is
12N7D-3B
it is a standared type of battery that you fill up with acid.
the local battery plant(i live 15 minutes from the DEKA battery plant), doesnt make this type of battery. but ive got to imagine there is a similar, or slightly smaller battery that would have the same CCA.
i cant for the life of me figure out how to find a battery based on size. id also like to get a sealed battery, but that is a secondary concern.

Need to replace the front diff seal and having a bear of a time getting the front drive shaft out. I’ve unbolted the diff from the frame and slid it forward. The rear of the shaft fell out easily but for the life of me I cannot get it to release from the differential. Is there something special holding the drive shaft in the front diff or should it pull straight out?
About six weeks after my 2003 Grizzly 660 was stolen I saw it advertised on Craig’s list. I notified the police and they recovered it. However it was badly abused in the meantime.
I had had a local welding shop weld supports in the back to reinforce the tow hitch. Somebody cut everything off. I think they cut off some of the original frame of the machine too.
I need some good photos of that area of a Grizzly 660. Preferably a 2003, but any similar year would help. Thank you.
