My SE finally came in and I was able to pick it up. Being new to the Grizzly world and I was excited to see it. I’m very impressed and pleased with my choice. I can’t wait to hit the trails. :lala:
Hello this is my first post and first problem with my 600. I had been having and intermittent problem with it running in reverse. It would spit and sputter and stall. I was going to do the reverse bypass but thought I would clean the connections at the cdi and reverse switch first. I did that and it seemed to be fine. Later that day my son took it out and after about a half hour got towed back. He said the engine stalled and would not start. It would not crank, neutral light is on. I let it sit for a while and tried it again…it cranked one time, did not start and would not crank again. Battery is new, I checked the starter relay and solenoid by the book and they test ok. If I touch the starter lead to the pos from the battery the starter cranks fine. I could not start it by pulling either so I suspect it has suspect it has no spark. I will verify that today. I followed all of the tests in the service manual and they all passed. Not sure where to go from here?? Would a faulty cdi cause this cranking problem? Please help!
I’m wondering, now that Yammy seems not to be taking the "wait and see" approach other than full steam ahead! When will we see a "Big bore" ATV? (around a 1000cc or so). Will Yammy work on a way to squeeze their new triple between our legs in an ATV? Or am I asking too much of old Blue???
Hello all, got a chance to test ride my new grizz today, I did not go very far just enough to test everything to see how it worked, this is my first time ever on a grizz I was all way’s a Honda man coming of a 2000 450es that is full time fwd and getting onto a 2016 700 grizz with power steering …lol total shock to the system!!!! I cannot wait to get it home to have a good long ride. thanks
My 2011 hit a blind washout going around 30. Luckily no broken bones.
Now I gotta replace… Having a hard time choosing between :
Yamaha kodiak 700
Honda foreman manual foot shift with Eps.
Yamaha benefits : power, lower seat height, looks
Honda benefits : diff. Lock, power steering.
Prices basically the same and both have irs.
My question is: how is yamaha 4wd system without diff lock? Is it a limited slip?
I like the smaller more stable frame of the kodiak over the grizzly. Lower center of gravity is important to me.
I can’t stress enough how good GC really is. Coming onto this forum to read and help is like walking into the pub after a ride. People talking about good times bad times broken parts and issues. Not to mention talking about family and other things.
I extended a PM out to a few members yesterday explaining my difficulty finding a part for my wolverine in Canada . Not only did every email get a response willing to help but I had a member not even ask a question just said "DONE" so first off Thank you to everyone that responded and a big thanks also to Hammerhead for just jumping up to the plate.
I would never have expected a 100% possitive response to my question, but I got it and that right their means this PUB is my favorite online. To all of you that don’t get Thanked enough for your help on here and to the others that just float around and read. You all/we all are what makes GC so great so..
Taking the Grizz to the Hatfield McCoy!!! Leaving first thing in the morn:banana: First time going. Tried going the last two years in a row and something always came up…. Finally, dream come true!!!!
