Considering a new quad and wondering if there are any weaknesses on the newer Grizz (i.e. CV joints, placement of belt intake and exhaust, etc.)?

Any common problems or issues?

Some good deals to be had on 2015’s right now. I would probably also look at the Sportsman 570 (for about $1000 less in Canada from what I have seen advertised).

Wanting to replace my rear pads on my grizzly and I was using the thread payed on here about doing so and I can’t seem to get the pin off the pads themselves. Which way is the pin suppose to slide out?

I just bought a Grizzly 700FI EPS Special edition Tribal for $1100 with 2311 miles on it. I changed all the oil and fluids and about to put the plastic back on and take her for a ride today at the farm after work. I will be checking out my deer cameras and such. I have had something leaking above the EPS motor but cant seem to find out what it really is. I hope riding it a good bit today I can find out where and pin point the problem.

I know she’s getting old but holy cow!! Every time I go to work on her a bolt breaks. Pretty much my whole skid plate, one on my bumper, muffler tip and today’s casualty was the hitch. This post may b more of a rant but has anyone else had issues like this or any tips? I’ve definitely started taking it slow

Why toss out the smaller models?
Around here, finding a used Griz was a chore. I looked at new ones and was considering the 450 initially. Then I found my 09 550 EPS. The price was good and it already had a plow set up, so I went for it. I have no complaints about it.

What I liked about the 450 was the smaller frame size. Seems like it would be well suited to trails and maybe a little easier to maneuver.

Anyways, back to the original question. Why toss the smaller models? Are they not selling?

OK so I got 1.5 mm shim in now I have a question, I seen in a post the belt sits a lot higher in the clutch mine sits way low problem?

I’m going in my first sled pull on sunday and need some advice.
should i put it in 4high or 4 low and should i put diff lock on.

Well… Front right caught a rut and rolled it. Lower a-arm is bent badly. Will need a new one along with new bushings. Not sure about upper a-arm. Can’t see anything obvious with the upper. Front brake is non existent. Can be pumped up, though. I’m a little stumped on that. It was fine before the incident and there is no obvious leaks. Right side of handlebar is bent down. I’m fine. The hunt will be on first thing in the AM for a new a-arm and some brake fluid. Oh, and I’m fine.
