I have a 07 660 grizzly and noticed popping noises coming from the front. It does it whether in 2 or 4 wd. The shafts going to the wheels feel tight. The left side spins smooth and easy the right side is harder to spin and is notchy feeling. I asume that is because its turning the gears from that side.? The drive shaft from the engine has play side to side when I pull on it. It seems to be more on the engine end. Is this wore out or normal?
I pulled the boot off the differential end and it was greasy and seemed tight just the yoke would rock on the shaft a little. Do I need a new shaft and how do you change it? Looks like the differential would have to come loose and slid forward to give it room to be removed. Thanks for any help you can offer
Hey guys, new here. Ran across and add on C-list, for a 1998 Grizzly 600 that needs drive work ://maine.craigslist.org/snw/5404908514.html
Runs like a top, New top end, no problems EXCEPT for it won’t drive. Guy says he replaced clutch and it drove good for an hour, then wouldn’t move. Thinking of trading my 2002 Arctic Cat 400i 4×4, runs & drives, only needs some cosmetic work…..is it worth it?
I just ordered a new ’16 Grizz EPS to upgrade from an ’04 bruin that has been extremely reliable. (Double engine size, EPS and independent rear suspension – going to be a huge change from the bruin!)
Hopefully the new ride will be in around 2/1. So I am thinking about how to set up and have 2 quick questions:
I just ordered a complete set of ricochet skids. When I installed on my Bruin, I was advised to run a bead of silicone under the frame where the skids will touch to prevent rattling. Is this still recommended? it worked for my bruin – just don’t want to trap water anywhere.
what is the actual height of the stock tires on the ’16 grizz?
I am looking a PB growlers and can’t decide on 25" or 26" in their 6 ply version. Weight is a factor as the 25" will weigh 110 lbs for all 4 and the 26" will weigh 132 lbs for all 4 (this is tires only). I want to install new tires without having to do clutch work.

Picked up this ’02 660 with 698 miles for 2,200 bucks! Seller thought it had just under 1200 miles and when my old man picked it up for me the dude had it on kilometers haha.
Any harm in this? I am going to install a set of Ricochet skids on the 2016 grizzly and would like to stand up the bike as seen in the install videos .Never done it before. I have some family coming over today and I can have some help standing it up for when I do the installation tomorrow. Any harm in this?
So I finished adding new plow setup. I chose Cycle Country mainly because of the poly blade and also went with the mid-mount for strength. I like the poly blade as it 21" tall and 60" wide and heavier than the all steel blade. I’m hoping tracks can push it well. Now just need some snow!!!!
