2016 Grizzly Grey SE On The Way!

Hey Guys,

I called upon your input back in July for direction on which Griz to hunt for. After a few months, and a few disappointing used bikes, the stars aligned and I pulled the trigger on a new one. Just signed the papers on my new toy and I pick her up Friday morning.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback. A special thanks to Polhammer…I must have watched your vids a hundred times.

I’ve already bought some goodies. Warn 3000lb winch with rope, Warn Plow, Heat Demon Duals, 2R Tip, and an 8′ promotional banner for the garage.

Can’t wait to break her in. Now I have to get my posts up so I can upload some pics. :lala::lala:

Grizzly copy?

Hello, I’m living temporarily in Indonesia and I was browsing atv market and found an very interesting web site barospowersports. they have most of main atvs for very low price.

I’m suspecting that these can not be genuine. You who know the details and technology of grizzly could you give me tips how to tell genuine from copy?

Battery Life

How often do most of you change your battery. I’m still on my original battery and it doesn’t show any sign of weakness yet. I bought my 660 new in March of 2005 and I’ve never had a battery last this long before. Currently at 6500 miles and my Grizzly goes into storage each year from December through March.

Just a question

Hello,
So today i went to diagnostics mode on mine grizz.į opened D08 and it showed 4.0 i looked at codes list and it says overturned. Thats not normal į guess? But grizz works well and it shouldnt make any problems?

new to me grizz

Well after searching for a while I finally picked up a new to me 2013 700 grizzly with eps. It has 150 miles on it. I got it on friday and changed the oil and filter yesterday, not happy with the filter location but no big deal. This week I intend to change both diff oil. I an not looking to do any mods until I see how I like it in stock form. Hope to be able to count on this site for any questions I might have.

Shopping for first Grizzly

Hello AllThis is my first post. I recently sold my Honda 450r and now I’m looking to buy a 4×4 for hunting and trail riding. I’ve ridden 3 and 4 wheelers my whole life but I’ve never owned a 4×4. I have my eye on a 2012 Grizz with eps. The quad has 1300 miles and comes with plow, winch, after market wheels and tires and passenger seat. The asking price is $6500. I plan on going to look at the quad this week. Is there anything in particular (known issues) that I should be looking for? Price sounds decent as long as everything check out ok. Any thoughts or insight would be appreciated. Thanks

1 bolt = $120

How does that work, you ask?

Doing some relatively innocent riding around some hills near the house with my buddy on our Grizzlies. Somewhere along the way, the bottom rear caliper bolt fell out. Not the long, thick one that holds the pads in, but the flange bolt that holds the caliper’s steel bracket to the vehicle. A 12MM bolt, I think.

The caliper then proceeding to bang into the inside of my ITP SS112 wheel a few times – enough to crack it in 3-4 places.

So … one wheel, another bottle of Highlifter sealant, and about $16 bucks worth of shipping means that one bolt cost me $100. Probably $20 for the local tire place to swap the tire for me, I’m sure.

And that doesn’t include the cost of the new bolt … 🙂

Cnew Grizz – Collecting crap

Hey Gang – New ’16 Grizz 700 owner here. Luv the ride, handling, power. Great machine. But what’s with the ‘collection trays’ under the outside CV boots at the rear wheels? After a short ride y’day through dense bush and bit of mud these things were absolutely caked with mud, dirt, branches, leaves, … hell I think I found remnants of a squirrel in all the crap!

I get it that these plastic parts are to protect the hub, CVs, boots, brake lines, etc but being relatively open on the front, closed at the back and sitting level means crap can easily enter, not easily exit and so just gathers and builds which ain’t good for any of those vital parts that they’re supposed to protect. Would be interested in other’s experience. Thx!
