Does can am sell the service manuals ? Are they expensive ? I don’t think a down load manual is what I’m looking for as I can see another iPad getting wrecked.
I’m trying to find the best or easiest way to remove the rear drive shaft on my 2015 outlander xmr 1000
Is there enough room in the center slip yoke to take the rear shaft out without having to slide the diff back?
Obviously I don’t think there’s enough room to torque the u joint bolts when you put them back in and I’d like to reframe from using red loctite if possible on installation. If I see yellow factory loctite I’m going with a good dab of blue. Unless someone recommends other wise ? As I’ve asked my dealership what they use and the service manager said they replace the yellow with blue on service work.
I have to replace the shaft boot and just because it’s out put new uv joints in. Are there any up graded uv joints people are using?
I’m going to lose my mind if I can’t get this figured out. I am installing Can Am heated grip / throttle combo on my 2016 Outlander Max 570 L. For the life of me I can’t find the 12V connector required to finish this up. I’m starting to think possible the L doesn’t have the connector I need (or maybe I’m going blind).
How do I find this? Any help would be absolutely appreciated. thanks a lot.
I am replacing all the wheel bearings on my Outy and Reny and was wondering how to get the rear bearings out. Mainly need to know how to get the cv shaft out so I can get to the bearing. I don’t want to remove the trailing arm and I thought I saw somewhere how to do it but can’t find it now.
The front wheel bearings on my 2009 Renegade 500 are real loose so I took it apart to replace them. Found out that there was no grease left in them but they are in good shape. Was wondering if cleaning them up and repacking with grease would be ok. It is a lot cheaper than buying new. Figured I would do them all since there is quite a few miles on them and I ride through water a lot. Planning on using marine grease to hold up better in the water.
Greetings, while on vacation my 2005, 800 MAX XT had a major failure. We took it to the Can-Am Dealer in Montana & had it back in a couple of days. While I was checking it in on a Saturday (mech had gone for the day) the parts guy says it maybe the Therm o Nuclear Seat Adjuster, and that my dealer should have send me a notice. With my dealer behind bars is there a listing of ALL Can-Am Recalls, Advisory’s & Service Campaigns. BTW it was the Stator that melted.
