My In-The-Trunk Gun Mount is finished.
I started by putting 2 more braces on the back rack. These lined up better with the corners of the trunk. This also made the trunk alot more solid. Then I put an internal bracket inside so the gun mount would be very solid.
It is not QUICK to get out, but that is not what I wanted for it. I now can carry a rifle without the big case bolted to the side or mounting across handlebars. My trunk is also lockable.
I have hopes of going into Graham, Idaho sometime close to Sept 1, 100 miles round trip into central Idaho with the Wolfs and the Bears.
When I do not want to carry the rifle the holder turn flat against the wall so I can pack tighter.
