speedo not working, dealer says its the speed sensor

how can i test the one thats on it

dont want to waste my money finding one (if possible) and then finding that it was not the problem

anyone have a process to make sure what the problem is? either sensor or head, could it be the speedo head itself? how would you test it?

Thanks for any help! Loud knocking when we turn. I can pull the drive shaft front and back and can see the splines from the front diff. Is there a locking key to hold in the drive shaft to the front Diff? Bought the service manual yesterday, but would like a little help with advice in taking out the drive shaft.

I’ve got the carb off of my 04 Quest and can’t figure out how to get the throttle cable off the linkage!! I stopped last night because I was getting aggravated with it and needed to get bed anyway. But I’m consider taking the thumb lever off and leaving it attached to the carb, but really wanted to get it off and get this carb tore down so I can clean it.

HELP!!! WTF am I missing?? I’ve got the cover off of the linkage housing of course, just can’t figure out how to get the cable off the linkage.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket hitch/receiver assembly for the 2004 Quest Max 650? The original design is poor and kills ground clearance. Any suggestions other than taking it off completely?

I’m looking for a camo fender skin to cover the yellow on my a Quest. I purchased one off eBay but it was for the Buck and didn’t cover the Quest 650 even though the seller advised it would work. The instructions noted that the Trail Buck cover was a one piece cover but the one that I had sent to me was two pieces. Any help on where to find a cover would be appreciated, I know John Deere made covers but I can’t locate one😔.

I have a ’05 Traxter 650 CVT. The past 2 times attempting to ride, the bike starts right up, runs fine but has nothing once I shift into reverse, hi or low gear,, just as if it were in park or neurtal. I continued messing w/ it shifting it around and while giving it some gas while in gear it finally caught and would move. The first time I rode it around shortly thinking it was just a fluke but did it again last night so something is up. Not sure if its the CVT/clutch. I read somewhere that the wrong kind of oil can maybe cause this?? I use Valvoline ATV 10W-40. Only 39 hours on the bike. Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks in advance.
