3rd time it’s happened in the less than a year I owned it! :th_smiliepissed: I’m not rough on it at all and just use it to slip in and out of the deer woods 1/2 mile from my house.
Bought one new shock for it as the right front kept slipping the aluminum shock seat/collar past the nipples on the shock tube. A couple of days ago, I had to turn around in tight quarters, so reversed it up a slight embankment and the new shock slipped the seat past the bumps on the tube
been looking at replacement options, but sure don’t want to stick with OEM and keep having the same issue.
I heard the Honda Foreman and Rancher front shocks will fit, but looking for input from anyone who solved this same problem.
Hi again folks…….well winter is coming and i lost quad space in garage to reno building materials,so the traxter will have to be outside this winter,so i need help with what would be my best and cheapest option to keep her warm enough to start when its -40.
Primer kit installed already
She gets rode near every day to plough snow or run my dogs

I just purchased a 2001 Bombardier Traxter XT 500, and was wondering if it is normal for the engine to backfire when you shut it off? I have tried the key and the button to stop engine and both have the same outcome,now the guy I bought it from said it had been service and a new fuel pump installed as well,and yes it does look that way,I runs fantastic through all gear ranges and throttle positions,just that annoying backfire at shut off
Any ideas why?

Recently, my lovely wife had a encounter with a tree. Not hard enough to do any visible damage, but the speedo and odometer quit working. Any suggestions on where to look for problems?
