Hi everyone. proud owner of a 1991 polaris big boss 250 6×6. found it rusting away on a farm. totally neglected for years. motor was stuck master cylinders for brakes frozen solid. Most of the calipers were toasted. Mostly apart in a pile in dump bed that was laying next to it. Cv were shot so they cut the shafts just out side of the yoke that slides on the front essentric. Picked up a parts trailboss that had entire front end intact. Got it all together and running and moving. Rebuilt carb replaced bunch of bearings. But now ive run into and issue. rear front (middle) axle bearings are also shot. Dealer or coroprate themselves can not give me bearing numbers for the axle or the swing arm extensions that go onto that axle to the rear. Anyone have any clue what the part numbers would be for those bearings? Im at a loss at this one. I have alot of money and time wrapped up in this project and dont want to abandon this due to not being able to find the bearings. ive since changed front fenders to white instead of the faded red almost pink ones. and replaced the nose and tank coverings to blue. Just havent taken pics since earlier today since i have changed them. And anyone have any clue if the dual calipers on middle axle are same calipers as the fronts?

newb needs help with 2003 sportsman 700
hi everyone, love this site, glad i found it!! lots of help here
my sportsman 700 was running fine other day now its dead.. while riding my odometer would go off completely then come back on ,,, it now wont even come on when i turn the key .. battery has power , new igniton switch and key, i dont know if it could be the solenoid or what , but right before doing this the battery light was flashing is there anything else to check any help would be very appreciated

2011 eps trouble two up
Does anyone no if i can repair the pc boards in my power steering unit. i have already replaced the relay now dealer says the unit is shorting out. great eh. big money for new plus shop rate. i feel this should be a recall anyone else having the same issues..oh ya sorry 550×2 2011 i bought new.

I just recently picked up a 2005 Polaris ATP 500 HO with 170 hours and roughly 1100 miles. My father purchased new in 05 and hardly used it. 2002 Sportsman 700 Speedometer shows”E”
I am new to the forum and recently scored an 02 Sportsman 700. Wouldn’t start and speedo displayed E. A buddy was in the process of a teardown of a similar twin so tried his Ignition controller and mine fired right up – so there was the starting issue. We also relaced speedometer pods and his worked just fine. My main question is once the igniton controller box goes does it take out the speedo or can it somehow be flashed and remove the error codes. Ever had this issue? Have not spoken to a dealer yet and searched the threads for a similar problem – this just seemed like a more efficient way to spendd my time. Also are all of the Manual links disabled? I cannot seem to load any of them. Thanks in advance for any help……..

Picked up a 2015 570 sportsman. went out on first ride over 30 and noticed a shimmy at 40 mph. Anyone know what this could be? Called Dealer and they want it back to fix it.:slomo:
