Hey guys. I am new to working on these things but I build engines, transmissions and rearends for my cars and trucks, so I figure I can get the hang of maintenance. I don’t actually own an ATV but I ride my Mom-in-laws ,lol. Since I get to ride it, I get to do all the fix-it jobs.:veryhappy:

Hey i’m new to the forum, currently own a 15′ Sportsman with 27" ITP Mega Mayhem on 14" M20 Kore from MSA Wheels. I have my oem suspension turned up all the way and a GSE Trail Tamer slip on. I also have a 13′ Sportsman 500HO that is all stock and had a sportsman 800 previously. I have also had a can am renegade (sunk it).
I’m seeking some parts for my Sportsman 850:
front and rear metal brush guards, HID lighting (possible led modded) Light bar, and a winch (synthetic rope). if there are any good vendors out there or places I should look please let me know.

Back in 2004 I bought my only ATV it was a Polaris. One I picked up from a friend who just bought it new but fell ill and it only had 48 Km`s on it.
I have enjoyed many hrs.on the trail going to hunting sights, and fishing holes over the yrs. It never been in any mud holes and with only 5400 Km`s on it.
I am sure it spend more time on my trailer than in the bush.

A little about myself I am retired 69 and still enjoy the outdoors Fishing, Hunting, and just sightseeing, The ATV gives me the ability to do all the things I still love lol as a old fart.

Hi everyone , I just thought I would introduce myself, my name is Pete and I am from southwestern Ontario . I just purchased a new to me 2010 sportsman 500 HO . I had a Polaris magnum 425 (1998) a couple years ago other than that I haven’t had an atv since my 1984 Suzuki 125 that we sold in 1992 . So it’s good to be back riding again . My machine is pretty plain Jane right now but thanks to this site I have discovered all sorts of accessories that I plan on adding to it . Like the 3 headlight mod , I just bought a terra 25 winch and am waiting for the KFI bracket to come in to install it . Also ordered the plastic cover with cutout for winch from Polaris (that I discovered thanks to this site) and plan on getting ATV Guru front and rear bumpers in the near future . I will post some pics if I figure out how . Thanks Pete

I am looking to purchase another 4 wheeler, something more utility wise. I have a Polaris now and have had Yamaha but mainly "sport"quads. I have narrowed it down to a 1998 Yamaha bear tracker 250 or a 1999 Polaris trail boss 250, I like the Polaris BUT the only thing holding me back is the auto transmission.. any advice would be gratefully appreciated!

Hello I am from Peas Brook, Nova Scotia, Canada. I just picked up 2 2015 Sportsman 570, one for me and one for the wife. So far we added the passenager seat and fender gaurds with foot pegs.

We just bought our first Polaris 900 very excited to hit some cool trails. Could you recommend some. I’m located about 15 miles outside of Louisville.
