My wife and i recently walked away from our jobs, the big city, and moved to the country. We have a 500 X2 we are on every chance we get! We really like these high mountain trails here in Colorado and have done a good many miles on them.
Before we quit, we got a toy hauler, and a newer powerstroke to get us where we want to go. Now that we have time to play, ya just never know where we may be.

I joined a few years back and then disappeared but now I’m back. Just picked up a 2015 Sportsman 570 EPS today to complement the ’03 500HO I already had. Hoping to get some accessories for it before too long.

Hey guys, my name is Jorge. Honestly I’ve never even ridden an ATV in my life. I just got stationed in Iowa and in the house I am renting, it looks like the owner (or previous renter, we really don’t know and neither does the land lord) left behind an ATV that I’d love to restore.
It looks like a 90 Sportsman from 2001 based on the research I’ve done so far. It looks like it has been in some sort of fire so all the electrical components are pretty much burnt out.
I was hoping to see if someone would take me under their wing and help me restore this piece of equipment. I really never thought f getting an ATV due to how much it actually costs (my research shows this model going for $2000+) so if I am able to bring this baby to life for less than $1000 I’ll be happy.
I know it’ll be a huge project but it’s something I’d love to do. However, I will need help as I know little to nothing about mechanics. Trying to study the manual, but the machine has been taken apart so I can’t tell what is what. If someone is willing to take me under their wing, I’ll be more than happy to share pictures of the damage.
This will be something to keep me busy. I suffer from depression so I try to stay as busy as i possibly can to help me through it. Any help is much appreciated!! 🙂
Hi, I’m new to Polaris machines. I’ve always had Honda or Suzuki. I had an older honda 200 that I bought for 100 bucks siezed up, got it running and traded it for a 98 trailblazer with problems. As of yet I only have $273 total into the trailblazer, so I’m not screwed yet. I replaced the cdi box, solenoid, and positive cable. The petcock is now leaking badly (he did say it leaked some gas, but that’s an understatement ). I’m not sure how long it sat, there is oil in it. Is there anything else I should watch for, and how do I know if the oil pump is working?
Hi guy i just bought a 2001 magnum 325 4×4. It has been sitting for 3 yrs. I am very mechanically inclined and work on jet skis, lawn equipment, dirt bikes, ect. the starter is bad and pull cord had no rope so i rebuilt the pull start and got it to pop off. I’m going to rebuild the carb and change the engine oil. is there anything else you guys would recommend I do before using it? any sort of gear box oil change? hub oil? dif fluid? I will grease all the fittings I see but is there anything else I should do? thanks in advance. Chas

Just bought new 2015 Sportsman 570 Sp only got 1 km on her.I have a question for anyone who has one.On handle bars where winch in out toggle is there is small rectangular box with cover no idea what it is any idea would be helpful thanks
