Hey guys great forum ya got here. Lots of good info to read. Got a question for ya. 96 sportsman 400 won’t start. Starter is out so I’m having to pull start it. I have got it to start up for a brief second then just dies out like it’s not getn fuel. But I have had the carb cleaned n rebuilt. The whole top end has been rebuilt but still no luck. It’s getting spark that i know and I pulled the fuel line from the carbs othe after the fuel filter n it’s getn fuel. So I’m kinda lost at this point as this is my first Polaris. It is a 2 stroke also. I’m guna keep reading through some threads to try n find something similar to my problem. But thank you in advance I’ll take any n all advice. Newb from southern il

I will be coming to the rest of the GNCC rounds this year. So, you can look for me at Unadilla…come up say hi get some decals we can talk shop or talk technical stuff suspension wise if need be!

Hey fellas. Hoping someone knows what I need to do to repair rear left support Rod? I’m new here and to riding. My 2009 550 sportsman is broke there and have tried to reattach but it won’t stay. Right side is solid. This is the stabilizer Rod I think. Next to the shock and attaches to a metal tube seems to have a groove where it attaches. I’m real dumb posting pics etc. I’ll try but was hoping someone could thro a thought on the little info here. Thanks in advance. Rod

Hello, I am new member here. My name is Dewayne Marlow, and well I wanted to show all a picture of my quad (but I couldn’t figure how to upload any from my android phone). I am 27 years old, and riding quads is my life. I come from a quad friendly community located in the backwoods of the Tennessee mountains. I have owned quite a few Polaris atv’s (along with others), and have rode many others. My favorite ride though is hands down the 500/525 Outlaws. I have owned two really sweet 500’s that started my obsession, but I just wish y’all could see my custom built 525. It is one of those quads a man dreams up, but never thinks he will own. Fortunately, I was able to build mine.

Hey guys! I’ve used this forum for about a year to research what to get for me and my dad. He wanted a SxS and I wanted a sportsman. We just recently started seriously looking and I came across a great deal on a 2013 550 EPs le and pulled the trigger. I get a phone call an hour later and found out dad bought a 2008 razor 800. Now we are ready to roll out! Thanks for all of the help already! I’m sure I’ll be needing more help as time goes on.

A little bit about me: I am an elementary teacher in South Dakota. I have three beautiful girls (too much pink at my house.) I am pretty much a fan of all the typical "manly" stuff; hunting fishing hiking camping etc. Again thanks for everything so far. Looking forward to more!

I have a problem which just happened to my four wheeler last night. My grandson was riding my HO just cruising down a dirt road about 40 mph when something suddenly happened and the ATV started to bog down. He managed to get it home doing no more 10MPG to keep it from cutting off. It starts and idles fine but any acceleration causes it start to bog down and if you keep throttling up and it wants to cut off. It sounds like a diesel truck when clutched at a high speed deceleration. Can anybody give some ideas about what I need to check to figure out what is wrong.
