I am really new to this atv thing….I recently got an atv without any manuals. It is in partial disassembly. What I do now is this….vin number is 4xath50a07a963102. It is a 2007 polaris. The only decals on it say on demand awd. Man date is 11/01/2006. Can anyone help me as to what I have?

hey im new to this kinda stuff but here it goes lol

my 2000 scrambler 500 starts right up idles really good drives awsome full of power then about 20-40 mins into a ride it starts loosing its power/bogging when throttle is applied and its starts spraying coolant out of over flow bottle now i can come to a stop and sit there and it will idle great but if i hit the throttle it starts backfiring boggging this only happens when the quad gets warmed up like i said runs great for the first bit so my question is is it a head gasket ? can a head gasket cause it to bog when hot and spray coolant plz help i have no mechanic in my town so im stuck doing this by my self hopefully with the help of some one i can get it fixed

New to the site, but I’m an old dirt biker and ATV rider from the crime free Northwood’s of Wisconsin. After 30 years of motocross, hare scrambles and enduro, the bikes are gone ,and the quads will take me the rest of the way.

I have a 2005 Polaris Sportsman, and just bought a 2015 Polaris 850 SP Touring. Parked next to the 05 Polaris Edge Touring Sled.

Look forward to the info and fun from fellow enthusiasts. The pounding from years of off road dirt biking have forced me to a more casual form of recreation. We have lots of riding opportunity and I’m going hardcore ATV’ing
until I can no longer ride…..which hopefully will be many years from now.

Just wanted to get on here and say hello.. I currently have an 06 sportsman 700 carb… Last time I rode it the battery light started flashing, plan on doing tests this weekend to pinpoint what is wrong with it. My question is if the stator is bad do I need to replace anything else along with it? Was told I should replace the temp sensor at the same time but not sure about that? Just throwing it out there to see what anybody else thinks, thanks
