2014 Honda TRX450ER

Hey guys,
It’s been a while since I’ve been on here, but unfortunately it’s been for a good (or bad) reason. On July 19th 2013 I was burned in a shop explosion and fire and miraculously survived, but with 3rd and 4th degree burns over 90% of my body – everything from the neck down. I spent nearly a year at UC Davis Burn unit, undergoing surgeries and skin grafts, battling pneumonia, infection, and an unimaginable amount of pain. Now home and slowly recovering, but always staying positive and strong. This is the hardest thing that I’ve had to do since my accident but I need to do it, and thought I’d let any of you guys that might be in or willing to travel to the Placerville, CA area the first shot at it. I’ve got a brand new off the floor 2014 Honda TRX450ER for sale. Since I am missing three fingers and the remaining fingers don’t fully work, I will not be able to hold on to this beast. This was an insurance replacement for the one I lost in the shop fire.

This thing is race ready other then it hasn’t even been broken in yet. It has been loaded down with features that allow this beast to go the distance. It has a 450cc liquid cooled single cylinder four stroke engine, the Nikasil Cylinder Lining, and an independent double wishbone Showa shocks on the front for suspension. The electric-start system features an electric starter and it has a high-performance Flat-Slide carburetor, Twin-Sump Lubrication, and a rear disc brake with aluminum caliper. It weighs in at 388 pounds and holds 2.7 gallons of fuel.

NIKASIL CYLINDER LINING:
High-performance Nikasil cylinder lining is plated directly to the aluminum cylinder wall. It’s tough, smooth, lightweight and provides cooler and quieter operation for extended engine life and higher engine performance.

TWIN-SUMP LUBRICATION:
Twin-sump lubrication system separates the oil supply for the crankshaft, piston and valve train from the clutch and transmission. This ensures a cool supply of oil to the clutch, which eliminates clutch and transmission material contamination to the engine oil and reduces the amount of circulating oil and the required size of the oil pump.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE FLAT-SLIDE CARBURETOR:
40mm Keihin FCR-type carburetor features flat-slide construction w/ four rollers. This results in very light throttle effort, smooth operation, crisp throttle response and excellent rideability.

MX-PROVEN SUSPENSION AND CHASSIS:
The front suspension features independent double-wishbone with Showa shocks, with adjustable spring-preload, rebound and compression-damping and 8.4 inches travel. In the rear, the Pro-Link suspension connects to the swing-arm via a progressive linkage and features a fully adjustable Showa piggyback shock, providing 9.3 inches of travel.
