G’day all,
Sorry for the first post from yet another "noob" to be an info request of the brains trust, but sometimes ya just gotta do it.
I have bought a 2004 660 as a non going bike that had been partially stripped and was found to have had a spun camshaft – guessing no oil got up top and it grabbed.
I got a new one plus some other bits and pieces from the US – much, much, much cheaper from where the majority of you guys are, plus shipping than buying locally. Great example was the top cover – US$35 plus postage Vs AU$138 plus postage. . . .
Anyway I digress. . .
1. The grizzly starts perfectly however blows A LOT of smoke until it warms up, then it is minimal – suggestions?
2. The fuel gauge does not work – I have replaced the sender unit from inside the tank, but still just have the flashing fuel symbol on the LCD display – again any suggestions would be appreciated.
I am sure there will be more questions, but for now this will do.
Oh, a lil about me? Umm I am in the Australian Army, am a Medic, and have worked with some great US Soldiers, Sailors and Marines in Sandy places.
