1st post, new Grizzly 550 owner

I almost hate to post this a most will laugh at me for buying a new 2014 550 Grizzly instead of a new Kodiak. I have rode Honda atvs for many years and they have been very reliable. I run in the Arizona desert and since I am older now I do not need extreme power. I still have my 2005 Honda Rubicon with 6k miles on it but at my age I needed to get IRS to save my back and I needed to get power steering for a small shoulder problem I have. If my Honda had those item I would not have bought a new atv. I looked at several used atvs with power steering and irs but they were within $1000 of what I paid for this 550. Most of the other atvs I looked at with power steering were getting to be $10k or more out the door. I bought this new 550 for $6400. I just got my street legal license today and started driving it around to get it broken in. I am happy with it so far but I have noticed that in only 30 miles the gas tank it down to about 1/4 on the gauge. Maybe the dealer did not have it completely full and once broken in it will improve. I could ride my old Honda Rubicon over 100 miles on a smaller tank. Some of my rides are around 100 miles in a day so I am hoping for at least this mpg so I do not have to carry extra gas. I hope this thing is as reliable as my Honda is. Other than oil changes etc. I have done absolutely nothing, even the battery is original from 2005.
